In India for the past few years there are many rape incidents happen and there are no safely young women in this country. The rapists are not even punished and are left freely. I do not know how will the victims lead their life after such incident has happen in their life. In some countries, the rapists are let off freely if they marry the victim. In some countries, the rapists are given death sentence.

According to you, what can be the best punishment for these rapists so that no one else should think of raping a women. I like the punishment which is given in most of the Muslim countries - hanged to death in public. Do you think that this is fair or they should marry the victim???

This is a very good question. I think if proven guilty I think that persons organ should be cut or removed from his or her body. So, the next rapist wanna be, will have second thoughts.

Death sentence and marrying the victim are both unfair to me; killing someone who may change for the better and contribute to society, someone getting married to her rapist only adds salt to the wound. The punishment for rapists should let them live but leave a mark for all to see who the rapist is.

I would go for death sentence.  I just watched a story of a 9 year old girl who was raped and killed by his own uncle.  Before that, about two decades ago when he did the same thing.  It was learned by the police that this rapist just did the same thing before.  He was released before after paying some money to the family of a poor girl he raped before.  And now, he did it again.  Now he was jailed again and wished that he just stayed there since he is already senior.  So basically, your statement that those criminals can still change is not 100% true.

I think the most reasonable punishment for the criminals who commits rape is death penalty via public execution either hanged or beheaded, so that people would think twice before raping somebody. I feel like this brings justice to the victim and their family.

Don't you think that it will be too lenient? For example, imagine what happens when a 15 year old girl is raped by someone. For the rest of her life (60-70 years), she will be ostracized and will live like a pariah with a broken heart. But what happens to the criminal if he is hanged. Everything will be over in 2 minutes. Can you even compare 60 years of torture to 2 minutes of pain?

The death penalty is not the only option. most people in south Asian counties including me, didnt get any good sex education and in school times.so I think rapist should be punished and must give all of students that sex is not a secret think and parents must discuss about it openly

WTF? Do you really believe that he victim must be made to marry the rapist? What sort of retrograde logic is that? It is like punishing the victim again. IMO, the victim must be compensated for her ordeal and the perpetrator must be removed from the society permanently (either by a death sentence, or by giving him a life without parole in a penal colony).

Marrying the victim is in no way justified. Punishment in most of the Muslim countries are really worthy because this makes a snece of awareness in wrong doers that they may be at great loss if they ever commit such crimes.

That is so sad to hear mate. Rapists must of course be punished. Marrying the victim is neither an option. What rapists did is immoral to women. Likewise, having a high sexual desire is one if the deadly sins. Some people would want death penalty as a punishment for rape. But to kill is still against the will of God. Thus, the best punishment for rapist is life imprisonment. In this way, the rapist will suffer everday the consequence of his unlawful and immoral deed.

It is best to shut down or punish the death penalty for anyone being raped by women. So it is to be afraid that any people who are lustful. And let's get rid of porn sites on the internet so that the other kids will not be able to play in those shows. The more the child comes in the minds of a child than ever because they watch porn movies. Then remove it from the internet and make it private in the eyes of the public .

For me the best punishment for rapists is it's either they pay cash for the damages done or they get life imprisonment. For the payment, it must be a big amount because what happened is something that you can never change.

The rapists deserve capital punishment, to deterrent others from such ungodly act. I  cant imaging a normal  human being would engaged such act, a rapists is nothing than a beast.

They should be raped by male prisoners everyday or cut their genitals. At least by doing that, it will lessen that pain and trauma they have caused to their victims. Victims of rape will endure this as long as they live so it is just fair that those things should be done to rapists.
