How can you say that rape is normal. I think that if you were subjected to this crime then your attitude to rape was quite different. My opinion is that the victim should decide what will be the punishment of the rapist. It is easy to be humane when it does not concern you.

Agree, first you need 100% proof that rape were, some women and man are real scammers about this. They can lie to the court to make some money or other benefits. So first of all a good investigation must be done. We are no more in the jungle!

For me it is not harsh considering that you have raped someone.  Innocent people being abused of sexually ill people should be punished.  And I do not know what do you mean by normal rape because what ever it os if it is done without any consent it is indeed a rape.  I also agree with cutting the genitals of the male for them to suffer and be a warning to everyone

Even in India, there has been cases where the rapist was let off after marrying his victim. IMO, this is a very retrograde step. In most cases, the victim is dumped after a few months of marriage.

A just punishment for rape would not be marriage of the victim or death, but rather, rape of the perpetrator. The best place to execute such punishment would be a jail, since jails are gender specific but the need to do the deed does not go away now that the opposite sex is not available. In stead now, it would be the ass hole of another inmate that will suffice in the role that a vagina normally has. A fresh new face with conviction of rape is the ideal target in the jail to be raped. This punishment imo should do the trick to make the rapist a bit more humble in his dealings with the opposite sex.

In India for the past few years there are many rape incidents happen and there are no safely young women in this country. The rapists are not even punished and are left freely. I do not know how will the victims lead their life after such incident has happen in their life. In some countries, the rapists are let off freely if they marry the victim. In some countries, the rapists are given death sentence.

I believe you are wrong, this is only If they made a sexual relation out of wedlock (while both parties agreed on doing so). I mean, what normal person would agree to marry his rapist?

Yes, it is hard to believe that some Indian women that are raped victims marry their rapists, they do it because there are cases where they are forced by the family of the rapists and their own family, and also there are cases where the women gets pregnant, well in that case I think that it is better to just marry the rapist so that there will be a father for the kid, and there will be a provider. I think that there really a lot of factors to take into consideration why some rape victims consider marrying their rapists.

As for my answer to the question of the OP, I also agree with you that the only punishment or option that a rapist should have is to die, he only gets to choose how or in what method he will be executed. As for the method of execution, I think that hanging to death is the best method because it gives the rapist a time to repent and be sorry for what he has done, but no matter how sorry he is, he knows that there is already no way out. Also, hanging to death will be economical for the government because all they need is a rope and a post to hang it. Instead of wasting money on chemicals, medical equipment, and bullets.

Probably that would happen if it was all because of lust.  The rapist wad not into love amd all he want is to satisfy his fantasy and to have some pleasure.  What if the rapist has already a family?  How will their government resolve this crime if that would be the case.  I really wish that the punishment for rape here would be death penalty.

Yes, it's not rude at all, but the right punishment. Now many will seem to be perhaps too wild, but when they are raped by a man, I am sure that they will want to cut off his genitals, and not just take a fine from him.

Thousands of rapes are happening in Saudi Arabia every year. How many of these rapists are executed in the public? Last year (2016), the only cases of death penalty for rape occurred when foreign workers were found guilty for the rape of Saudi women. There are more than a million house maids in Saudi Arabia, and 99% of them are raped on a daily basis. I never heard any Saudi getting punishment for these crimes.

Rapists deserve the maximum and severe punishment, if necessary the death penalty, in order to arise deterrent effect for other people not to commit acts of rape.it's fair for them.

Being a women, I agree with you completely. At least in my place, rape is considered even worse than death. Remember that most of the rape victims are in their teens or early 20s. They have to live with the mental agony and trauma for the rest of their lives. They will be socially ostracized and it is a state worse than death.
