In India for the past few years there are many rape incidents happen and there are no safely young women in this country. The rapists are not even punished and are left freely. I do not know how will the victims lead their life after such incident has happen in their life. In some countries, the rapists are let off freely if they marry the victim. In some countries, the rapists are given death sentence.

According to you, what can be the best punishment for these rapists so that no one else should think of raping a women. I like the punishment which is given in most of the Muslim countries - hanged to death in public. Do you think that this is fair or they should marry the victim???

I think for many countries, rape is viewed as a very heavy crime, therefore most punishments, as I know, is either life imprisonment or death. In some countries though, one cure to not get punished is if you would marry the person you raped, provided that the other party allows it. However, I don't think a person who was raped would allow that because the trauma and memories she may have due to the incident would not come to the state where you would accept the person who did you the very experience become your husband.

Rape is worse. their punishment should like boiled in oil. Rape is one of those crimes that invokes emotions and innervates our desire for revenge. we need to treat rapists if not most criminals as patients who need treatment. If we did that our focus would be for cure and prevention. And we will ultimately make - by far - the greatest advancement towards reduction if not elimination of crimes.

Best punishment? For rape, I think it should be an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. Women are physically weaker than men, which makes them easy targets for rape. Women should be treated with respect. I really think rapists should be raped as well by means of inserting large foreign objects up their you know what. The punishment should be done repeatedly weekly perse and it should be for as long as they live. They genitals should be removed as well so they won't capable of raping anymore. Harsh? Yes, because what they've done was unforgivable.

That would be easy for them. Rapist who get away with their crime will soon rape another. Cut their penises and legs and arms and let them live if they can. Or the government can blind them but also provide them a rope if they want to hang themselves after it.  I think this is a better punishment for such crime.

These sort of replies are not practical. Only when the mob catches some rapist in the act, we can implement such punishments. In India, a few months back such an incident occurred. A Muslim man was caught raping a tribal girl in the state of Nagaland. The tribals formed a mob, dragged the rapist out of the jail, and then lynched him to death.

Killing me softly as a punishment for rapists. I will soak his penis in chili sauce first for 1hour. Then, i will stitch his penis. After that, i will castrate his two balls. Finally, i will remove his penis using chain saw. So that he will experience how painful the e perience he did to the person he raped.

Some people wants to punished rapists by killing them in the electric chair or in letal  injection , but for me i want to punish all of the rapists in prisonment so they can punish there mistakes in their entire life ..

Put into jail until they die is also a very appropriate punishment. Jail them and do not let them out again. Just being imprisoned usually does not deter them, so let them spend the rest of their lives in jail. The solution for them not to go to jail for too long is to commit suicide.
