Hi everyone,
What advice would you give a HS senior in US about to decide on and/or enter college ?
You've probably seen various idiots saying college is useless etc.Don't listen to them. These are mostly guys who are dumb enough themselves and are not able to finish even high school, and now they're prompting others to destroy their future too. Let me tell you something..even if you find you college degree useless, the life experience you'll get there, the working ethics you built will be so worthy to you in life, it's not even measurable in money.

Should you Go To College? Only if you like living in a slime pit, with a bunch of sex snakes.

The vast majority of people should go to college. But if they have a unique idea there is no harm in exploring it on the way. Do a few things at once and expand your general knowledge. Allow that to push you forward and when you graduate, you can think of what you want to do.
The best idea would be to go to cheap but good school to just get the diploma, not spend a fortune in loans you cannot get removed and have to pay even if you go to bankruptcy (in the US).

Complete waste of time educationally wise. You can go to your local college and sit in on classes you're interested in any way. Know one cares.

If you can afford it, then why not? It would be a great advantage if you can also complete your tertiary education as it would be useful in the long run. Finishing college would make you more competitive than other applicants as you are expected to know more and be more educated in a particular field. However, a college degree should also be combined with hard work to make it work.

Yes we must go to college because for me education is the key to success. Because in college we learn a lot like how you communicate properly and good manners etc. What you learn environmentally is different in what learn in college we all know that. That's why a lot of parents encourage there sons or daughters must go to college.

If you can then why not, you have better opportunities when you graduated from college compared to those who are not. I'm not saying that undergraduates or those who didn't go to college don't have a chance, there are lots of people who still manage to land a job even without degree and still earns good enough, but like i said you have better opportunities when you have degree.

Do you want to? I think we shoul understand why we do something, cause when we understand what we can get by doing or not doing something - we don't have questions like that any more.

A successful life doesn't involve going to college unless it's part of a greater goal that an individual wants to achieve for their own reasons. If college isn't interesting to you, don't go and focus on how to make a living off of something that you are passionate about. There's always a way, it just takes some time to find it.

Well its sometimes not a question anymore if we want to or not. Its neceasary if you want to land a decent job so i thinm even if you don't want to go to college, you have to still go. Find inspiration to get you through it

Find inspiration to get you through it I don't think it's necessary for a decent job. The best paying jobs can be reached with degrees from sites like Udacity, which is cheaper and better than college.

Hi everyone,

yes you should go to college. There are more opportunities when you are a degree holder. I think so too. College is a good way to strengthen your credential, and although it may seem difficult, it is actually the easiest way to bolster your standing to be able to gain better jobs and opportunities in general. However, I am not saying that it's all about going to college. I understand that in the US, student loans are killers, especially with sought after degrees. But as I see it, the sacrifice would be worth it.
