i think the common misunderstanding is that...

provably fair = impossible to lose

that is not true!
"provably fair" just means that the rolled number is truly random and is not "fixed" by coinpot.
so if you win it just means you have been randomly lucky
if you lose you have been randomly unlucky
the problem is that some people put it down to "skill" or "luck" when they win, but then say it is coinpot cheating when they lose

Yup, it's not a guaranteed-win measure but rather like you said, to verify the round outcomes of before and after the bet has been placed.

Do you partake in the challenges too?

Same here, I'm pretty much fine just using the faucets. With work in the way, there's so little time to keep claiming when you're busy.

it works for me

And about all previous comments... I have to say today there is another bad period with same multiplier method for me and another 3 friends. More than 500 token lost in less than an hour with 1 stake multiplier!
This is very rare to happen... and as I said previously, it only happens losing (not wining), so for today and during 12-24 hours, I will not play the multiplier game. This is only an advice Smiley

We have tested multiplier auto-roll with 1 token stake and in 5000 rolls we have lost more than 100 tokens each one with betting:
- always higher
- always lower
- always alternate

So we think for today this is manipulated...

You mean after all this time you still haven't figured out how they do this?
It's related to time of the day.
Try running a set of rolls between midnight and 1am and then run a set of rolls between 1am and 2am, you will see.
Midnight to 1am comes out even or on a slight plus, 1am to 2am comes out on a gigantic loss.
(Other times of the day I don't know, I run the multiplyer exclusively midnight to 1am)
If you observe how your win/loss statistic evolves, you can even tell when the server switches, because the difference is visible within 10 or 20 rolls and since this happens every single day at the precise same time there can't be a coincidence.

Nah, not dead. Most probably the sites broke and it would take a few days at least to get things up and running again.

Not the first time by the way.

Hi there,

I see I'm not the only one experiencing strange streaks of losses at Coinpot...
Don't get me wrong, I love the site, I've made about 100 withdrawals in about 2 years, I've never had any problems on this side.

But the as far as the multiplier goes... It's usually OK.
Like some of you guys here, I do the challenge everyday. 100000 1 token rolls most of the times and I usually come out with more sats at the end (thanks to the "xxx multiplier rolls in a day" and the "xxx tokens staked in a day". Which means that even if my token "profit" is negative, it's usually highly compensated by the challenge bonuses.
BUT sometimes, I'd say about once a month, the 0% house edge turns into a huge joke, the whole process goes to sh*t and I lose so much even the bonuses don't compensate the loss.
I usually run 10 tabs with 10000 roll each, and I can get a negative token profit on the 10 freaking tabs at the same time ! That's just impossible ! It should be more even: some negative here, some positive there, but no !
For example, right now I got 2 tabs with 6000 rolls done : profit: -195 and profit: -185. :-/
There are even been some days, last year, when the machine pretty much broke and I got several hundred losses in a row, with NO win... I sent a support ticket... No answer, of course.
Even the server is crap. It often isn't even capable of counting how many rolls you made: it will either be 15 min late or worse, lose count of 30 % of your rolls (but don't worry, if you lost tokens on these rolls, those he won't forget, be sure of it!).

Coinpot is a goodsite, but poorly managed. The support is non-existant and I'm pretty sure it could die anyday. I always withdraw as soon as I get to the minimum payout of 10000 sats (after converting my tokens).

if anybody did not do that previously, I could reveal here how to disable all ads within its faucets without being blocked to get the claims...

I'm very much interested indeed! :-)

omg lol
you are running 10 tabs with 10000 rolls in each and wondering why you are having problems!!

and now you asking for information about how to block ads - this is their only revenue! do you think they can caontinue paying out on the faucets with no ad revenue?
dont come on here complaining that your account is banned next!  Roll Eyes

Like some of you guys here, I do the challenge everyday.

I don't Undecided I convert tokens in btc.

I usually run 10 tabs with 10000 roll each

I'm pretty sure that as per Chrome browser design but it's a common design among other browsers I suppose, when you run multiple tabs, only the tab that has the focus gets the full Javascript "power". The other tabs run at a lower-priority so maybe the Javascript engine running the rolls has issues?

One thing i am sure is running coinpot site and multiplier use a lot of CPU and RAM.
