I'm a software developer interested in creating a bitcoin only penny/competitive auction site.  It'll have new, unused products.

Already made my first rookie mistake and registered a domain name way to similar to another one out there.  Need to keep looking I guess.

Greetings,

I am looking to provide freelance graphic design services. I have experience with most Adobe products (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator are my main tools) , though I am not great at video editing or production or sound design. I have very basic skills with Maya, though I am trying to learn more over time. I have branding, logo design, layout, and desktop publishing. experience. I am still a novice with HTML, though I can create graphics for use on websites. Thank you for your time.

I own a small iPod and iPhone repair business. It is mailed based and I accept repairs from anywhere in the US although most of them come from Hawaii where I live. I'd love to start offering btc as a payment option on my site but for now I'm thinking about just offering it via the forums to see what the interest is like. If I do start offering it on my site I'd also be completely willing to host a page dedicated to explaining what btc are and links to more information about them.

I've been in business for about 3 years now and will work on most iPods and all iPhones except the first generation and the latest iPhone 5 (haven't ordered parts yet)

Not all repairs are listed on the site so if you need some work done you don't see listed feel free to ask about it. I also do work on other devices on a case by case basis if I can get the part and feel comfortable about taking it apart without damaging anything.

I'm open to any feedback, thoughts suggestions.(Really interested in how other business are accepting btc as payment and if anyone knows how to easily implement it from within prestashop)

Cheers!

PS. Any webdesigners out there......my site needs some TLC

.NET/C# Senior Developer and lead software/solutions architect here with over 10 years of experience, have several bitcoin projects of my own that I want to discuss on the forum. Passionate about cryptography and security.

I'm also interested in creating friendly APIs for .NET to soften the learning curve of developers wanting to get into bitcoin.

Been watching the forum for a while and I am quite familiar with how the bitcoin protocol works technically, as well as economically.

I have nearly fifteen years of professional-grade Information Technology and software development experience, with an emphasis on security and industry-standard best practices.  I offer a full-stack experience, providing everything from hardware to fully-managed hosting to web-based and (simple) desktop software development.  I also offer security audits of both servers (Linux) and code (PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby and more).

I'm here to offer my services, and will eventually put a more thorough ad in the proper forum.

I'm the founder of an alternative currency technology startup called Legit Money Holdings, Ltd.

We're working on a way for people newly interested in Bitcoin to buy their very first Bitcoin within a few seconds without the need to create an account or enter personal financial information.

I've also built out a much more robust client library for Bitcoin trading in PHP. All the solutions I found available were quite lacking (basically they all looked like straight copy+paste jobs from the MtGox API documentation Roll Eyes ). Using guzzle (a full featured PHP client-library), I was able to wrap several trading sites quite nicely. There's also a guzzle Bundle for Symfony (a PHP framework) that integrates quite nicely. Once you have guzzle installed, you can very easily integrate with any REST API you'd like. It's quite slick. I'm looking forward to releasing these and other components to contribute to the Bitcoin community!

Edit: added links to frameworky stuff --

I am an experienced Asia-Pacific currency trader. I'm interested in exploring Bitcoin as a vehicle for investment and exchanging CNY. I'll have a more detailed plan available in the marketplace once my newbie status passes.
