Im starting a service that allows travelers from all over the world to pay with bitcoin for hotel and hostel bookings.

What do you guys think? Is that something people would use? It would allow someone to pay for things in different countries without using the local currency and getting screwed on the exchange.
Let me know if you are interested in helping dev.
Thanks

Interested in seeing whether there are some scalable, VC-backable Bitcoin businesses beyond the Coinsetter/Coinbase/BitInstant wallet/exchange/payment ideas. I have the funding and the team...looking for an idea, and researching whether Bitcoin has opportunity (beyond sheer investment). As Jeremy Liew @ Lightspeed Ventures states, most of the ideas depend on the value per Bitcoin increasing by orders of magnitude, so it would be better just to invest in that directly (or avoid the whole space).

I'm a dev, I work primarily in Java.
Right now I'm looking to make better mobile apps -- higher quality widgets and things like that.
Right now the choices - at least on google play - are slim and give limited user-friendliness and configuration... even though those two tend to be in opposition :p

You dont need to pay for help, just do research. It will pay off in the end anyways.

We just added some additional bitcoin functionality to NumberProxy. NumberProxy lets you create temporary disposable phone numbers so that you can call and text without giving out your real number.

I am the CIO at Timeless Interiors, a multi-million dollar home staging/interior design studio and furniture store that just made the decision to accept bitcoin!  We ship Accross the country, and we'll be launching an online store where you can buy designer furniture with bitcoin (or credit card or paypal).
