With the high rate of unemployment in a lot of countries, mine included, people have no choice but to look for other sources of income. I am fortunate enough to have a stable and decent-paying job, but I am also after investments so I wouldn't have to work until I am very old. With additional income from bitcoin, the possibility of retiring earlier than planned is very much possible. And us early adopters should fully take advantage of the opportunities presented to us by bitcoin and the crypto currency community in general.

And likely, it has higher chances that those unemployed people who are seeking extra opportunities online will really encountered the thing called "bitcoin" and will take advantage of it to the point that they will eventually not look anymore at day jobs.

But honestly, even those people who encountered bitcoin while browsing online seeking for day job available, some didn't push to work to earn bitcoin because some of them needs a fixed income earnings in no time and they need money badly now to support their familty. In some of the bitcoin related works available now it needs time to get a decent payment (even they will risk to buy bitcoin) and no way they will just received their bitcoin within short period of time.

Being unemployed drives people to various things. That is when you're going to find a lot of different websites be touched by people that would have never normally touch them, you're going to see a lot of services Touch by people that would normally touch them, and you're going to see a lot of scrambling around for any way to make money left to right. Bitcoin is no different than half-a-dozen other options, if you want to be technical about it after these people would have never even touched an employment site like indeed.com

How is Bitcoin an alternative to a job for an unemployed person? Unless you have a skill and use it to get paid in Bitcoin - but then you are just as likely to find someone willing to pay you cash for your skill!
If you mean making enough money through investing to live off - unless Bitcoin starts to massively increase in value far faster and higher than anyone is predicting, that just won't work. Think about it - you invest $1,000 (and you have to be a pretty well-off unemployed person to be able to do that in the first place).
Now there's no guarantee it's going to go up - but for the sake of argument lets say it does- lets imagine a "best case scenario" - your BTC goes up 10x in value over the course of a year.
Well done, you've made a total of $10,000 - but if you have to pay your rent/mortgage/bills/food with that, it isn't going to last very long! Even the crappest minimum wage jobs in developed countries pay well over $10,000 a year, and people struggle to get by on those jobs.
Then, your 10k is gone - and so are all your Bitcoin! How are you going to live next year? Unless you remembered to save $1,000 to re-invest - and then you just have to pray that BTC is going to go up again 10x the next year (which it almost certainly won't - never seen two consecutive years of that sort of growth, perhaps back in the very very early days!)
The numbers just don't add up. Sig campaigns and the like earn very little - enough for a sideline but not enough to live on.
The only option is trading and that's basically down to luck, unless you are a very, very good trader - and they basically don't exist in the crypto world - it's too unpredictable and manipulated. Anyone that can read signals and charts well enough to make a living from trading knows this, and spends their time trading stocks, bonds, shares and commodities instead, which are traded within a regulated market so are far less open to manipulation. That's why pro-traders don't get involved in crypto - it's too random!

my nephew just graduated from college and he is still unemployed, he is trading and investing on bitcoin, and luckily he is earning from it, we couldn't complain because he will actually earn more with trading/investing on bitcoin than working in a company, we live in a third world country so the unemployment rate is quite high. however we still tell him to get a real job and work on bitcoin as well.

I’m not trying to be judgmental or anything but marrying without having a job seems like a bad idea to me, marriage is a great institution but it has a lot of responsibilities and without money things will only become more difficult, I know that finding a job is difficult but any job is better than no job.
Nevertheless life is full of uncertainties and nothing says some boss cannot issue you a sack letter even a day after your wedding, but Bitcoin is rather empowering and one won't be needing to look over their shoulders because of their boss, because  Bitcoin puts people in charge of their affairs.

Earning bitcoin is not that big if you are beginners I mean the payment for lower rank thru signature campaigns will not give you equal amount if you are working as an employee unless you are doing other stuff like gambling or trading but thats if you are lucky enough to win...earning bitcoin takes time you cannot have .01 bitcoin in just a few days so I don't think it help those unemployed people..it is still better that they look for a decent job then make bitcoin as their sideline...

I can see this happening because it doesn't take any skills or having an education to be able to obtain it.
It is all internet money or cryptocurrency as the people online like to call it.
So all you need is a data plan to hold, obtain and use it. Undecided

I think it needs a skill like writing skills something that relates language because  you cannot understand what is being ask you cannot do bitcoins. And skills to read and write of course, but aside from that it doesn't required any skills that is thought by professionals. You just need a phone or a computer and a stable internet connection, and you can now access this forum and gain bitcoins in it. Saved them and do an investment to become rich in the future.

Now a days it is really hard to find a job especially when meeting the standards of the company and finding an alternative way to earn money is what we need to do in order to survive. One option is doing bitcoin because unlike any other online jobs bitcoin offers more oppurtunity to earn big by just exerting a little more effort on reading and learning things about it.

Not all I guess. But really, bitcoin ia a great alternative or sideline for those who are unemployed. But there are also people who doesn't even know what bitcoin is. If only there are means of educating the public even the middle class people, bitcoin wi really be a big help for many people.

That's the real story I'm experiencing, I work without being able to read the future because I am a day laborer, I keep looking for opportunities and job vacancies in various online newspapers and finally I found this forum, though it took time and not small capital, My main thing is to learn and understand every business offered, I do not hesitate to always ask.

Most unemployed people search for earning options in the net and when they come across bitcoin, they start using bitcoins to earn.By this way, they become self sufficient and they are no more in need of government or private jobs. They start earning even more than what persons working in jobs earn.

Bitcoin can be a good option in earning but if you are just starting then looking for other jobs other than bitcoin is recommended. Sister of OP is already married and maybe in the future when they have a child, they need much more something stable income like working in government or private company. I believe that bitcoin should be more of an extra income than the main source of income because even the price of bitcoin is fluctuating so its not stable.

Along with the development of the Crptocurrency world now there is no longer any boundary between countries in receiving payments. Opportunity to receive part time job online from various parts of the world wide open.

I do not think that unemployment drives people bitcoin but rather the interest to earn from all bitcoin activities is the one that drives us to bitcoin.  There are lots of people that have their main job to flocks in and participate in bitcoin activity to add earning from their regular jobs.  Others just wanted to invest and they saw bitcoin as one that have the biggest potential for profit.
