That's would have been nice, but it's going to take a long long time for it to happen.. Bitcoin still has to gain more popularity and it needs to be legalized in more countries for that to be possible..

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

i think bitcoin and the system of cryptocurrencies should be discussed in college because it is now part of our "culture" as a result of technology, even though many countries still banned cryptos it doesn't mean it is "dangerous" or "lethal", it is important as breakthrough in monetary system, so that is why young people should know and learn about, in hope they can produce a better insight and improvement in cryptos system

Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.
Yes, I think there should be more courses of knowledge in the field of economics or virtual currency because in the future individual digital currencies will develop and we need to have the experience to communicate. For the next generation if you want to have an extended country.

Now It is the right time to give college students a sense about Bitcoin. It is a new technology that has been able to create a revolution in the global economy.

Bitcoin might and should be included in college studies soon for the future generation of bitcoin to be well versed and more learned in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies than we ourselves are. But yes at present even I haven't come across any such news where any university or school made it a part of their curriculum.

In our country there is now teaching the school about bitcoin, increasingly using bitcoin here in our country because of its many uses, but so far only one province is teaching about bitcoin.

In college, when I was studying, I was a lesson in economics and told about currencies about what innovations there are around the world. And the crypto currency is the same economy.

This trend will develop soon when the bitcoin will be teach as the online currency and the books like financial investment they will also give light over these currencies like for the business students it is good to show them the usage and the investment perspective as well bitcoin is good for arbitrage as well and the people who are experts in currency swaps they are also happy with the usage of bitcoin and in the future bitcoin will be more famous and many people will shift all their effort for the bitcoin.

I do not think bitcoin will be taught in college. I think the schools will teach the blockchain technology and the bitcoin study is the students, the school will not teach about bitcoin.
But this is hardly possible, bitcoin is a very negative currency for many people and the government will not allow education to create a new bitcoin course.

If I'm not mistaken, in the US there are some courses that are offered which give some intro into cryptocurrencies; but it doesn't really make sense to me why you would want to pay big money to some college to teach you the basics of Bitcoin.  Everything about Bitcoin is "google-able" and you will probably find out a whole lot more by asking questions to people on forums like these or Bitcoin's stack exchange forum.

It just seems dumb to "make a job" out of this.  To me this is/should be more of a hobby type of thing.

I am sure that in the coming months, Bitcoin can be a part of the discussions in many classrooms. Now, instead of focusing more on Bitcoin, what should be discussed is the technology behind Bitcoin which we all know is Blockchain Technology. I think that is the game changer of this whole thing and it can be applied in so many industries and can even be applied in schools.

It'll be a rare sight, although some schools would allow this on a project you might get mislead as to whether the information came up with is even relevant to popular demand or to become outdated.

The age is too new to see on class material, in fact too far as to whether it will be the same 10-1000 years from now besides price increases.

Training in bitcoin? I don't think so. Perhaps someone from teachers will add to the course a lecture about technology of a blockchain in the fact-finding purposes. But it won't be obvious the separate direction.

it's very nice and interesting, applying and discussing about bitcoin into college. so students can recognize bitcoin early on. and I agree on this. but in my country bitcoin has not been legal and is prohibited. so it's very difficult to introduce bitcoin to everyone including college students.

yes I agree with you, we had learned some economics lessons related to general theory of the global economic such as trading between two or more country in commodities in the past an now crypto currency become a part of it, we have to use technology to make it more easier and to developed the economy of a country

In my country, the government doesn't accept bitcoin, and people can't trade bitcoins at home. So I think it's very difficult to teach bitcoin as a course in college, which is not allowed.

That would be great. I think, it's quite rational idea to implement. The problem is where to find proper stuff
