Guys, read the rules before posting. Try not to call names here, it won't help anybody. Instead bring some value to the discussion, related to Bitcoin Cash. Thank you!

You know I don't think I've posted in this thread but I've been following it and you should be put on the cover of Time Magazine as Shill of the Year.  I'm not posting to fud BCH.  I still hold all of mine since the fork.  But you are just ridiculous and are cluttering this thread with garbage.  BCH will not replace bitcoin regardless of how hard you run your mouth.  Bitcoin is in the mainstream.  There are stocks that follow it.  There is a futures market.  It has gained adoption as the top cryptocurrency.  Bitcoins future is not that of a daily currency used to make purchases but that of a store of wealth.
There are so many inconsistencies and falsehoods in your posts that it would be impossible to point them all out.
Why don't you just go back to the playground and play on the merry go round with the rest of the children.

You really are lame.  Who cares if Ally offers CME bitcoin futures.  There are other places that do.  From the link that YOU posted:

The discount brokerages that do provide access for their clients could be the winners, argued Morgan Stanley in a recent research report. The Wall Street firm said that one of the big benefits of offering DIY investors access to new cryptocurrency products is the potential to cross-sell. An important practice on Wall Street, cross-selling happens when a trading firm lands a new client for one service and then gets the client into other products at the brokerage firm.

Furthermore, Morgan Stanley said that offering the new products could build brand awareness among regular investors given the attention bitcoin and the bitcoin futures are receiving in the marketplace and from the mainstream media. "Brokers that offer bitcoin futures trading may appear more cutting edge than competitors without it, attracting more clients," Morgan Stanley said. "If it were 20 years ago, when the discount brokers were insurgents, we wouldn't be surprised to see them as first movers in providing access to newly regulated areas of cryptocurrency trading. Over time, they may well move beyond bitcoin futures."

TD Ameritrade and Scottrade are merging so there are two large brokerage firms who's clients have access to CME futures.  Ally is like a speck of dust compared to those two.

lols...salty

ello oldie..sorry for delay getting back from the merrygo round lol

ok lets do this shall we...
firstly you said "I've been following it and you should be put on the cover of Time Magazine as Shill of the Year."
so 2 things i say back is..thank you for following me on this thread lol Smiley then, being #1shill for how bitcoin is meant to upgrade and being on tm, ill take that as an early compliment  Kiss
lols, then you say im filling the thread with garbage but you fail to contribute anything yourself..until now!

Next then you go on this lil rant "BCH will not replace bitcoin regardless of how hard you run your mouth.  Bitcoin is in the mainstream.  There are stocks that follow it.  There is a futures market.  It has gained adoption as the top cryptocurrency.  Bitcoins future is not that of a daily currency used to make purchases but that of a store of wealth.

seriously m8, your sounding more like a newbie than an oldcoinguru...
just because something was mainstream (myspace, nokia, kodak, kazaa, etc) doesnt mean the new updated version cant be just as mainstream and even more popular,(fb,iphone, etc)
(or do you still play ps1 over the ps4, which version is more popular and more valuble today?)
esp by offering better upgrades that work now...like faster and cheaper tx (and soon zk snarks)

now the rest of the stuff you mention ,stocks ,futures...they will really take off, once BCH claims #1 spot(reclaims the btc ticker) and we all unite behind satoshis vision..not blockstreams VIRUS infected segwitchain. then the futures will be going long and to scared to short.

and lastly, gtfo with the dumb store of wealth crap, how is people wealth doing in past 2weeks on btc? down 40% fk...you call that store of wealth..wake the fk up m8,
it was under $1k for last6yrs!!!  alt coins have out performed it consistently as a better investment for past 2yrs (this yr xrp x200 ,last yr eth x60)
btc got its value from useabilty, its lost that now, (steam, newegg, and others leaving btc)

why are you segwitters so slow to understand how and why hard forks exist....ffs are you all really this thick?

i hope you contribute more here and maybe focus your conversation more on the topic and less on me  Wink

As long as we're over the george fool line i could hardly care. In 4 years it won't matter. Satoshi supports Bitcoin Cash. End of Discussion, you lose.

You might fail to understand this, whatever. I can never convince paid blockstream shills anyway.

https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/7lm1qd/you_guys_where_right_the_whole_time_bitcoin_cash/
submitted an hour ago by don-wonton

3 months ago I never thought I’d be on this side of the debate. I was a core follower, speaking hate about everything this sub stands for. I was lucky to realize how censored r/bitcoin was due to some bots that malfunctioned, realizing that something wasn’t right. Slowly I learned the true, sad story of Bitcoin. I’ve just written out my paper for a video talking about the lies core tells about the necessity for running nodes, and how easy it truly is to scale bitcoin/cash. I’ve remained slightly skeptical until now. It’s so obvious at this point, it’s depressing how most people won’t ever realize it. I just wanted to thank to this community for fighting what is right, and supporting me along the way. You people keep the spirit of of what Bitcoin was supposed to be alive!

Fuck you BlockStream. Im literally dedicating all my spare time, to do whatever it takes to help bring you down.

Welcome to the family Don  Smiley

I do not know if nobody noticed, but transactions in bitcoin cash are increasing considerably, it sounds fantastic!

It is increasingly common to see block of 1, 2 and even 4mb in bitcoin cash

I'm really excited to see it

https://cash.coin.dance/blocks

https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/size-btc-bch.html#3m

No this is bad for example one of the later larger blocks

https://blockdozer.com/insight/block/000000000000000003e0c76b90c275d5ef5b09d0db58ff1144f43f35081f73ec

This is almost 3MB in size 3x the size of a block on BTC but only has 527 transactions in it every block on BTC has over 2000 transactions or 4x as many so for this 3MB block to compete with BTC it would need to be 12MB in size

The sat/b fee may be lower but the average transaction size is way bigger and this is really bad

See your chart here but instead of comparing blocksize compare the transactions per block

https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/size-transactions-btc-bch.html#3m

The blocks may be bigger but the TX count which is what matters is only a fraction of the size this means the BCH blockchain will grow in size much faster than BTC while doing the same amount of transactions

At this rate you will be filling a 8MB block with ease but still doing less transactions than BTC  Wink

btc and bch share THE SAME SYSTEM OF BLOCKS, they fit the same amount of tx per block Mb, so Bch supports 8 times more transactions than btc, BASIC LOGIC. Segwit nobody uses it,

There is no incentive to batch or optimise transactions therefore most are being sent in highly inefficient ways bloating blocks to make them look like they are being used when infact they are just as empty as before
