There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

is this the reason why bitcoin cash is keep the price up? bitcoin cash a huge potential in the future just like ethereum and ethereum classic. will be watching in this thread for the fork.

Every coin has the potential to be going up in the future given that they keep continuing the development of it. Most of the reason that bitcoin cash exchange rate spiked was because it was listed in coinbase

Totally a huge achievement if you ask me considering they are only less than 1 year . It has an exchange rate on par with ethereum and the potential to be keep going up for more at this point

If I invest in BCH now, is it too late? I see the current price is slightly higher. But it is very potential.  Please give me some advice.

But what about your 8MB blocks can't they cope and even with a full mempool BTC is still processing more transactions per block with a average of 2500tx/block on BTC and 800tx/block on BCH

Yes the BCH chain is being spammed with inefficient low value transactions but guess what most of the BTC chain is low value inefficient transactions

Well, to be fair, anyone sending a transaction on the BCH chain can probably get away with 5 sats per block an be included in the next block. However, the bottleneck on the BTC chain is at the 100-120 sat level. Only inconvenience is that everyone running a BCH full node has to store 8 MB of mostly trash transactions, every 10 minutes. Wonder what will happen when they hard fork BCH  and get rid of the block size limit? Are the miners going to process the trash or just ignore the low fee tx? We will see...

Edit: It appears that Antpool, BTC.Top and Mystery miners are limiting their blocksize to only 2MB. ViaBTC and Bitcoin.com are allowing up to the full 8MB. That really sucks that the Jihan Wu and friends only want to mine 2MB blocks.  Angry

Ohhh noes, ehrmagerd, it's 70MB!!!! Should we decrease the blocksize?!

It appears that Antpool, BTC.top and the Mystery miners have elected to decrease the blocksize.  Cool

Why should they per today?

Reality is that there are still not same amount of tx needed economically as for btc and why do you want to have too much attack potential (for BS minions et al)?

Things are not perfectly sorted out atm and more to come.

BCash will never cease to amaze me. What the F is it doing at 0.1915? Should be max 0.165... The only stable median in the chart.

Well done to the believers though. Happy you got what you wanted.

This is a bit sad if 0.195 is considered as the best thing it can do ...

That depends on how hard BTC falls. Could well be 1.95 after the flippening

No still here

Your mempool is filling up though almost at 100MB

Ohhh noes, ehrmagerd, it's 70MB!!!! Should we decrease the blocksize?!

You ready to answer the question? Come on buddy just have fun with it.

But what about your 8MB blocks can't they cope and even with a full mempool BTC is still processing more transactions per block with a average of 2500tx/block on BTC and 800tx/block on BCH

Mempool garbage cleared in 16 hours. https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/uahf/#24h

The fees rose, and the spammer ran out of coin for his attack.  Kinda how Satoshi envisioned the network to work, self-regulated by economic self-interests. Any other questions or concerns? Or just more of the usual FUD?

The BTC chain is ALL super expensive transactions with up to 40% of UTXO completely unusable due to the high fees. Still hodling? Drinking any "champaign"?

How about answering the question?

It's just as high as before and the issue is not that it cannot be cleared it's that it can be financially possible to do and needs to be stored forever yes btc is higher but 100sat transactions go through next block

Whoever is spamming the BCH chain is not really spending anything major so providing they keep it up then it could possibly go on for months I mine more in 1 day compared to what they are burning and the dip could have been a simple script or server crash or what they had tied up in unconfirmed transactions

Yours is really painful now. You are like mclaren honda saying that in the next race we will be fighting for the podium when you really break the engine in the second round.

Your level of fomo and fud has reached so high that I hate reading you even. I suppose that your dignity should have a low price and you are only an ape behind a keyboard, writing what core troll tells you, in return, they give you a banana, and you only hope that this time the banana is not very rotten .. ..

This is your bitcoin core / segwit paypal

https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions

https://fork.lol/blocks/size

https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/transactionfees-btc-bch.html#3m

Core rate 28 dollars on average ....

Core time, hours even days .....

Bitcoin cash rates the real bitcoin 0.02 cents

Confirmation time ... INSTANT, 0 confirmations is fully available and usable. You have total security that your tx will be included in the next block of 10min, and well, if you buy a porch, maybe you can give yourself a 10-minute walk trying the car with the seller before they let you go ...

Go lose your dignity in another forum, well I'll buy it, it should not be too expensive, do you accept bitcon cash?

Yes it's too late. It's a shitcoin very manipulated full of Bshills spamming propogranda.
They are claiming for months that the flippening is happening as you can see there is no flippening at all.

I recommend you to do your own research and don't listen to anyone here that is red tagged.
Those people can't be trusted.

It seems totally irresponsible to me your bad investment advice.

Also the same shit as always, Fud and more Fud. I should read the definition of shitcoin before saying that bch is.

Bitcoin cash now has important fundamentals that make it an investment for the coming months.

BCH - Bitcoin Cash is moving to $300 by the end of January. Currently Bitcoin Dev are working on lightening network to make BTC fees cheaper. Currently BCH fees is cheaper than BTC. If everything will go as expected nicely, bitcoin cash price may go down further than $300. BCH is sinking.

It makes sense, BTC will come back soon and BCH is not worth so much due to bitcoin's rally.

Smiley This place is full of ignorants who do not know anything about bitcoin history. The main names under the success of Bitcoin all of them are NOW in BitcoinCash right now. As a business teacher in one of the Dutch universities, I have been following them for a long time. The same names and even a greater team now organize a lot of meeting, seminaries, and workshops around the world to make BitcoinCash even bigger. The banks took over Bitcoin, yet BitcoinCash with world-changing mission and vision is going to be the biggest digital currency. I certainly believe that it will touch $10.000 to 20.000 this year. And I know for sure that even Facebook is going to implement ETH/BITCOINCASH in the coming months. Nothing will beat Bitcoincash
