I would like to make a request.
As we approach the May 15th fork, it would be nice if the mods would allow the news to be displayed on top of all the pages...like..

News: Latest stable version of Bitcoin ABC 0.17.1  [Torrent]. (New!)

Bitcoin core version is being called bitcoin(BTC).
I hope Bitcoin cash has justified its reason to you guys for calling itself Bitcoin(BCH) aswell.

Displaying two bitcoins with two different tickers seems like a good compromise for most (i think)
Bitcoins-
Bitcoin core (BTC)
Bitcoin cash (BCH)

Please consider this request as i think all Bitcointalk users deserve a fair chance to decide which version of Bitcoin they would like to use and learn about.
Thank you  Smiley

Bitcoin Cash will absorb all the best features of other coins, bitcoin nuclei have been too afraid to do. bch tries to be friendly so it can attract the best possessed by space. BTC does not allow innovation so developers go to other projects. Now is their chance to work on bitcoin again. Smiley

At least, Bitcoin won't have any fatal bug, like ETH. The safety is the base of BTC. BCH, as a successful fork, can apply any innovation and test.

Very possible, but really dependent on what new products are announced that leverage the new OP codes. If we have people announcing and releasing products right around/after the upgrade it could stabilize the price or even cause upward momentum.I think bch will not explode...now it reached a fair level for its value...this cycle its for the real long term value.

Bitcoin cash has real supports of big mining farms and big traders. That's why it is successful compared to the other bitcoin fork coins. BCH groups are working around the clock establishing the infrastructure that is needed to push this coin on the level of BTC. Yeah, I agree, BCH price now is the value that will be stable for a long long time.

BCH went from the payment to the infrastructure platform through the last hard forks. Many developers in the community have developed Dapp based on this, which has many functions and many people are using it.

bitcoin cash can beat in the future bitcoin core?

If you are asking about market dominance, then yes it _can_. Whether or not it _will_ is an open question. I am betting that it will. Literally. Somewhat hedged, but betting so.

If you are talking about utility, it already does. Which is, of course, why I expect it will also eventually lead in market dominance.

Bitcoin Cash may not be as stable as Bitcoin, right now, its just another coin, as they have not proven themselves. Establishing users, world wide support takes time.

https://www.merkle.press/2018/05/this-german-bank-prefers-bitcoin-over.html
Bitbond uses cryptocurrencies to avoid the long waiting times that would exist through traditional systems. Similarly, the high fees that have to be paid due to a large number of intermediaries that may be involved in a SWIFT transaction could be overcome by the small – or nil – fees that are charged when using cryptocurrency.

SBI are aiming to do the same thing with BCH but on a worldwide level(competing with swift)
Albrecht from Bitbond should realise BCH is the better option for this, its faster and cheaper...just as Mr Kitao from SBI recently said...

https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=https://moneyforward.com/media/career/58526/&prev=search
Focus on BCH and XRP

Kitao said, "Bitcoins are mined and exhausted and all are not sold as scarce assets. It can not be used for other purposes too much, it is tough as a settlement currency. The price is too high, Cut off the bitcoin and throw it away.
On the other hand, "Bitcoin cash is practical and it can be used as a settlement currency in particular,   XRP is also effective as a remittance currency, I am trying to focus on trade finance, etc. as there is room to use it."

When this happens, expect BCH cap to be easily over $1trill.

Anyone know if the Electron Cash will work right after the fork or since the OP codes are changed and everything we will need to wait for an update first before using.

On the website it warns not to use older versions since there are protocol changes which can mean it leads to loss of coins.

BCH is still very strong at the 12 hour level, because he did not drop much. On the whole, when it starts MACD, it can be bought again.

It's been nearly 3 hours and my BTC transaction has not gone through. Angry, even with a 3x increase in fee. Can't wait for BCH to take over.

No airdrop.
BCH will hard fork to 32M blocks, and OP codes will be re-enabled.
OP_RETURN will be increased to 220 bytes.

whats the technology behind Bcash? how is it compared to bitcoin core?
Are you serious?
You sound like another clueless segwetter...are you all like this?
Lack of critical thinking, imo.

Bitcoin cash is bitcoin...if dont believe me, then start researching away from bitcoin core censored forums.

You are looking confused due to recent drop that is just BCash so stop making this kind of fake claim. If you are dare than your BCH to any BTC address than I will believe on you. If you accept my challenge than I will send you real Bitcoin address.
Hi, first tell me this are you willing to learn?
I taught people what eth was , on this forum when it was under $1...check my history.
I taught people what xrp is for when it was under 2xrp for 1cent...check my history.
Now im teaching newbies what BCH is...I SPEAK FACTS.

do you know what a fork is? why it is necessary? and much more.

Once you understand that og btc chain needed upgraded  (scalabilty problems, slow tx, expensive to use as user base kept growing)

All users that want to use the same btc chain with improvements have been given two choices...
use BCH  that fixes bitcoin to the way we all like to use it, but with alot more features.
or use segwetcoin that has been trying to implement LN,its still in beta, its to complex and faces many problems ( users losing funds )

BCH is the clear and obvious option for anyone/business wanting to use crypto in a variety of ways.(create dapps, smart contracts, fast and cheap tx, all working today)
use cases = value
BCH is Bitcoin
Bitcoin core is btc and is now an infected ,mutated version of the btc we knew and loved.
Why? because bitcoin core devs, destroyed its use cases and useability for personal gain.
Also look at the top of this page, it says Latest stable version of Bitcoin Core: 0.16.0
It used to be called just bitcoin, but not anymore...

Sounds credible what you‘re saying and also makes kinda sense, so you probably also have issue with the polarizing figure Roger Ver? When it comes to Bitcoin Cash I noticed that they have an effective team that signs up ecommerce websites to pay with their currency. Apparently they also succeeded to get Huawei onboard which is impressive, unless Huawei was also confused and thought they have the original version as it is indicated on the bitcoin.com website.
