Bitcoin is very good for long term investment because it's more stable compared with altcoins and tokens. There are also some promising altcoins which could give you more profit than bitcoin. The problem here is finding the right altcoin because there are tons of them out there. If you want to be in more safe side, you can choose bitcoin or you can diversify your money into bitcoin and nice altcoins like ethereum, waves etc.

You want to just track alts or thinking of investing?
If you are planning to purchase some altcoins, might as well track them from the exchange site itself.
Many will have an opinion on the best exchange site, bittrex and poloniex have been good to me so far.

Depending on your country, and if you stick to bitcoin, just leave them in coinbase till you get your ledger.

It primarily depends on what it is that you're willing to risk, but for a long term investment you're looking at Bitcoin being exceptional, assuming that you're looking at maintaining value or getting growth in large spurts, but not without the volatility that makes up everything. If you're looking for a long-term investment that has a lot more growth potential, then Ethereum seems to be pretty good at doing things like that. I don't know about most of the other coins though, as they come and go and stick around in the top 10 for market cap but sway up and down.

coinmarketcap is a pretty good site for tracking progress of altcoins. There are hundreds of altcoins registered on the site, check it out later.

For which number one of course bitcoin is perfect for long term investment ,, because in my opinion bitcoin is the main coin in the world of cryptocurrencies

And for the altcoin alternative I recommend Litecoin and Namecoin ,, because these two coins I think very quickly once the movement follows the bitcoin price, and the price is not so expensive, so can buy more.

       That is true, but if you would like so you can invest to both of them alt coin or bitcoins, because for me i prefer both investment and I'd like to do it for a longer term because i am not a full time trader that could visit the market everyday since I am busy with other stuffs. Just what he said choose wisely among alts because there are also some of them that are bad ones.

For sums that aren't big (wallet money) you can use a smartphone app. On iPhone even more than that. Jaxx is pretty popular and considered secure

I agree completely. If you feel like gambling, hope that one of the newer tokens can pull an Ethereum. If you want to be safe, stick with Bitcoin.

The answer should be obvious because bitcoin price value can surge up anytime because of it's support from merchants, e-commerce it is even being used as payment in restaurants, hotels and other goods and services. Plus bitcoin has many atm machine to easily buy and sell bitcoins conveniently also may online and offline services accepts bitcoin and even institutional investors have started investing in it therefore the reason of the recent price increase of it's millions of support. That's why it is called a safe haven for investment and your assets. If you are following bitcoin for a very long time you should probably know this.

So here it is more better for us that we should buy multiple coins in small small amount and then make our mind free from big tension .

The reason to buy these coins is simple  here all the listed coins are better to buy because their technology is good and another coins like the same technology get rise in the market , so probably most of chances here that we can make profit in these coins , and here creva has not much better technology but still this coin is at very less price and it's price can easily rise to 70-80 Satoshi

Buying more and holding what you already have is the best way to go by the current circumstances. Bitcoin is thriving lately even after a significant dip in prices and so I will advice all members to gold on to the gat they have and refuse to sell because I'm hopeful of higher increases in prices even after the August 1.
