A strategy by bigger investors I have seen on Kickstarter was having small investors back the project first, then step in if it shows there's enough demand for the product. For example with Shenmue III, Sony was just gauging public interest.

In Snapup's case we have a kind of a chicken and egg problem. Smaller investors waiting for big investors as seen with other ICOs, where that strategy apparently didn't apply. And big investors waiting for momentum.

It's not about an iPhone but, it's about their expectations. They are expecting a large quantity that's where investment seems a bit slow.
