That's exactly right IMO. profit from the information you generate. it's your work, you should be able to get something for it if the companies want it.

Yes a very nice article, i think the same things, cryptocurrencies is the new gold but don’t forget that the data is the oil, the data market is incredibly huge. Datum will link the blockchain and the data market, two big market, datum can take a huge value.

Yes interesting infos, but I don't think this will bring Crypto into the mainstream, at least not like it was supposed to be. At the moment every move brings crypto just one more step near to be a accepted trading good like in the stock markets.

Exactly. Project like Datum are good to let people get comfortable with the blockchain usage and how it is safe and secure. When they get more formiliar with the blockchain through usercases like Datum, it can become mainstream

I think the crypto community would be all over this, but the strategies for reaching a broader audience will be essential for growth.. How do you get someone who is only vaguely (if at all) familiar with BTC to use an app that is based on an alt-coin to control something that they barely even know has value?  Seems like a steep education curve to reach most users, so trying to simplify and create a user-friendly experience is going to be a major hurdle.

I think the crypto scene itself can benefit from a working Datum platform. As soon as people realize that they can make money with the data they would give away anyway, they will start to inform themself about Datum and hence crypto currencies in general. But you are right. An user-friendly app to help people get to know everything is important.

nah, i dont think we will see the 10000$ pretty soon. due to the upcoming hard fork, btc will surely rise to 6000$ and fall afterwards and start to rise pretty slow.

Please, let us come back to Datum. Its the ANN thread for this project, you can discuss this in several other topics here in the forum. The money came in for bitcoin, for its gold character. Its not important for datum. Datum will get its money over ETH. And in the present there is only ~1/4 left from the btc influence on ETH.

They really think they still have control over it but they are so wrong.

When you know you dont have control over it, why not use Datum and make profit of your data! This is just a brilliant idea
