What does this tell us? That cryptocurrency is thriving and getting ever closer to going mainstream. And in a similar fashion, Datum is a solution for users who understand the value of data. Since it is the most valuable asset you own and generate, why not profit from it? It summarised my thought in two lines. There are a lot of users who still dont know how much data there is about them on the internet. They really think they still have control over it but they are so wrong. When you know you dont have control over it, why not use Datum and make profit of your data! This is just a brilliant idea DATUM will be very populair in the future. Datum is giving back what you should have After releasing millions of people would try to sell their data.

Love the "elevator pitch" of this concept: your data is valuable, so why not make money from it?
I think the crypto community would be all over this, but the strategies for reaching a broader audience will be essential for growth.. How do you get someone who is only vaguely (if at all) familiar with BTC to use an app that is based on an alt-coin to control something that they barely even know has value? Seems like a steep education curve to reach most users, so trying to simplify and create a user-friendly experience is going to be a major hurdle.
Looking forward to following along
Most of crypto projects have similar problem. Cryptocurrency is just not known and trusted enough even thou we saw a lot of useful and interesting projects like Datum being released. I hope soon more and more people will adopt it.

how to claim 500 dat? just sign up in your website? when it will be available to withdraw? after ico is finish? I like this concept ICO. Good luck.
Once you subscribe it states: "We will send information how to redeem your tokens after the DAT Token Crowdsale." So once the ICO is over they will send you another email. Thank's for this information I didn't see it on my first visit to the ICO website. No problem! I think it's relatively new to the site. I didnt see it the first time either

The Platform has everything to revolutionize this segment and make it easier for many users who are interested, I liked the video and the way it was explained to us. I hope more and more people understand the importance of Datum, and how much time to earn. It is an investment and so much to do.

With a higher market capitalisation more and more people will become interested into this technology and they will find out that it's easier than they have thought. That's the time when etherium and all those ICOs will boost.

Yes, interesting information, I did not hear that over $13 billion were moved from stock markets to cryptocurrency market when Bitcoin hit $5,000 Well seems like we re going to see quite a rush now. 10 000$ could be closer than we think. nah, i dont think we will see the 10000$ pretty soon. due to the upcoming hard fork, btc will surely rise to 6000$ and fall afterwards and start to rise pretty slow. There is 2 hardfork coming, and if the BTC integrate segwit it means that the main problem will be corrected so we could see a big value increase.

The first fork will rise about 6000, the second will 6800, though I'm not sure if the second one will benefits BTC, it appears that is kind of illegal, I personally won't support the segwit BTc fork, so on a good note, it will increase BTC anyway, up until 6800, then it will go down to alts .

What is "Datum Network Trust Rating"? Can anyone explaine me, please? Datum plans a rating system as described in their whitepaper: "Datum also plans to implement a trust ranking system for all users (this includes owners of data and buyers of data as well as storage node operators)"

What is the technology that allows data from one app on your Android or iPhone to be collected by a 3rd party app? Aren't apps isolated from each other?

No not really, for example there are tracking features wich allow to control other apps. Further everything is (temporarily) saved on the smartphone/pc. The app just needs access (;

Finally I've read all the whitepaper. And I have a question. Won't Datum need some kind of monopoly to successfully function on the data market? Because large data consumers (facebook, google etc.) acquire and manage users data themselves. Or maybe Datum will be bought by some large player, data consumer shortly after launch (in june 2018)?

Or what do you mean with "just needs access"?

Say you like to surf website regarding cryptocurrency and blockchain, you will have more advertisement from those subjects delivered to you. You see it in youtube, facebook and other websites that has on-site advertising. So these few days some of us may be bombarded by advertisement from a certain ICO. These apps got your data from the phone. They took it free. Imagine with Datum you get to monetize it. Brilliant really.
