Also, a 4 BTC listing fee is not worth their exchange. Certainly there are other better options. The community shall discuss! Use the funds well... they were donated to be used wisely.

I think 2018 is the time for the decentralized exchanges to bloom and show what they've got. BUT centralized exchanges still remain crucial for volume nowadays.

If people work and move together, getting listed on several ones is a very possible task. In fact this should be a very minor task. Great things can be achieved when people work together.

Do not wait for things to happen, act. Great thanks flying out to all people who are doing something, you know who you are.

bapp, I like your style. If I understood that correctly you're leaving those funds for development?    If that's the case, let me suggest something to the community.

How does the community feel about using the funds to have a website developed to support future community expansion and development?  Now, this, of course, would mean a whole lot of work would need to be done by the community in preperation.  Just curious as to everyone's thoughts as to the directions we should go.

I dont think we need money for website, money people have asked about but no one confirmed if they can do that.
People will be willing to make website for free.
But till we dont have super clear things, vision and roadmap. What we will write on website.
Where is the content, about who we are , what we plan to do, how we will execute.
Discuss these things and I can make a free website using good html template or good wordpress theme, where you can have your own hosted blog as well.

I think exchanges are not very important. Decentralized ones are in the works. It's all about patience.

First of all, no one is able to explain why we have land in decentral and how it will be used? Also, when that land will be available to us to do something.
Or Advise that yes we are waiting on something, so that people dont feel nothing is happening.

I am all up for work, but we are not able to collect thoughts together, where and how we want to move from here.

It true that there have been not much activity in here lately but things are actually moving forward.

I think in this phase (before the bounties are completed) if we just come up with good ideas and discuss them it's already a good step in the right direction.

About the exchange i thought is too early at the moment, but if many people, like i saw few weeks back want it, now is time to act on it.

Now that coinexhchange increase their listing fees, we can consider Stock.exchange as a starting exchange, they are asking a 1 BTC fee for listing.

Volume wise its not much, but thats a good alternative to etherdelta. also we can also take a look at coinsmarket i think they still list coin for free depending on the community behind it.

I just wish nova exchange will return soon, its a good exchange for a startup community coin.

what about https://www.lykke.com? they added a lot of coins and tokens recently. i will ask them via telegram how the chose a coin. i dont think that the chances to be added are huge. but i will give it a try.

lykke.com is a super small exchange, coinmarkecap says that there only 800k usd daily volume, so i think its not a best option right now. with that kind of small volume at all exchange i dont believe that we could achive even 50k usd daily volume

Lykke tries to add popular tokens at the moment.
the ones with volume.
that they will send out a questionnaire and requirement of NDA.

Yeah good idea by bitcointalk. I just saw this recently. I think I  should start awarding few merit points to good posts around as I heard that they can be removed of not used at all. For my 100 merit points awarded to me, 2 MP for every good post is not a bad idea..

EDIT: I just discovered that I have only 5 sendable merits. So anyone knows what will happen to the rest?

The 100 you have cannot be given or taken away they just increase when you get smerits for a post. The one you send are sMerits

Yobit offers a free inquiry to see if they would add it for free, but I know a lot of people don't like them.  I only mention it as a third or fourth exchange.

Here is something from the TALK coin thread about getting listed for free on BarterDEX:

I think kucoin is better than yobit. If most of users that get airdrop donate we can get funds for listing fee.

Cryptopia will cost more than 15+ BTC to get MVT Listed.

If Coinexchange is asking 4BTC its better to get listed on Livecoin almost same cost for listing or Liqui.io
