Stake has updated the requirements for receiving the rain in chat. Only level 2 KYC verified users will be able to receive rains from Stake chat now. Wagering requirements is still applicable. I think Stake is the first casino where identity verification is required to be eligible for the chat rains. However, I have nothing to say about this change. I haven't received any single rain in last 11 months, I rarely sent messages in the chat.

On one hand, I can understand it as you will weed out a lot cheaters/abusers/ double accounts. On the other hand, they force you to do full KYC just in the hopes to receive some rain. I know it can be rewarding, but because all the spamming and begging, I rarely chat on gambling sites. It is difficult to really have a conversation.

Most of this scenario happens when the user have shown his gambling stats. If those were kept hidden none knew about the users profitability. This is where users request for some funds. I don't know how people find our wins, because they won't ask us all the time. When we're on the winning streak they ask for it. At times mind says, give some or else you will start losing.. hahaha

I think, some of these people are only in the hunt for these players who are winning good. Who knows, they can really get some tips from them? But it is like begging and I don't agree about it. Because if you are winning, do you want others also asking some tips from you, even if you don't know them at all? And just magically appears because you are winning. Sometimes that kind of approach is annoying. Better mind your own business.

I think updating the requirements is necessary to avoid the cheater or abuser, but doing KYC for the chat may be a personal consideration because not everyone uses chat to communicate. But if it's to ask for money via chat, I guess it won't be great but people are still willing to do KYC to get rain chat.

Stake teams will always update their requirements to protect their site from fraud that can arise because they have learned a lot from their experience. It is why it is possible to have KYC for level 2 in the rain chat to avoid many people begging for money from someone's winnings. Yes, it is better for us to play gambling for our own money and not from begging from others.

Me too and I think I haven't received any single rain more than a year as I am so inactive in chat both in global chat room and in local room. This change has no significant impact for me as well, aside the fact that I'm not actively use the chat room but I also not a player who want to do KYC just for rain. Anyway, it is good step from Stake to minimize the number of rain abusers but I'm starting to worry as the same requirement might be implemented for all the available bonus such as pre/post monthly, weekly and monthly bonus.

KYC isn't mandatory for the standard users. The process is optional, but verified users were receiving extra bonuses from so long. Now the account verification is also required to receive the chat rain.

The situation is same here. I don't like to verify my identity for those extra bonuses. I have created my account at Stake 4 years ago. Still I haven't gone through any step of the identity verification process. I have no complain as long as they are giving the regular bonuses (weekly, monthly etc) to the unverified users. Probably they will not make the verification mandatory for the players to be eligible for the bonuses.

Perhaps, the new rain requirements isn't going to reduce the spam from the chat. But it is a significant steps to prevent the rain abusers.

I just hate it when a Slot has no "limit" on it's auto spin feature....

I tried the new "Lion Gems - Hold and Win" (Playson) and I activated the "Auto Spin" feature.... thinking that it will stop on the Free Spin ...but it just goes past that when you hit it.

I got some visitors... so I left it running ..thinking that it will stop, but it just went on and on, until my whole balance was wiped out.  (It also has no option to select in the settings to stop on any feature) 

Without a doubt it is not a nice experience to see all your balance being wiped out by something like this, but it is because of this that it is important to make sure that we know how this feature works before we leave it unattended, and while this is an area of opportunity for stake, since I think it makes sense that some sort of limit could be reached and that forces the auto spin to stop, at the same time as gamblers we need to take responsibility, so I hope you did no lost a lot of money due to this little mistake.

Sometimes there are bonuses that don't require a high wager like pre-monthly if you have 4 Platinum accounts then you will claim $100
Actually Stake doesn't have a problem with bonuses like that , it's just that misuse can be a reason to implement KYC.
I'm sure it will be implemented but not for now maybe a few years regulations also force it.

 I agree, the problem here lies with the gambler most of the time because you need to check it a lot more carefully. I mean in the end, we are talking about something that is a bit more dangerous if you are not careful enough and that will hurt you one way or another. Obviously, if you know what you are doing then in that case you should be at the screen and looking at what's going on and try to stop it if you think it's going badly. I hope he didn't lose much, I hope it was a small enough amount that he wouldn't be really worried or can't pay for something, we should always gamble with the mindset of losing all of it.

If I'm not wrong pre-monthly requires wagering, and based on that will be the bonus amount. If there is no wagering, then the user will get a minimal amount fixed for the level same as that is being followed on monthly bonus. Wagering is needed to receive high bonus amount.

That's right.
During the livestream for the megarace this past weekend the owner mentioned how this worked out and it is the base amount then anything on top of that is the amount wagered for the week.

Yeah I know about the requirement, but who knows? The same as the rain, players need to wager xx amount during the past 7 days in order to be eligible to receive rain. The other bonus also come from wagering, but afaik it has a fixed base amount so even if we do not wager much, we still get the bonus although small amount based on our VIP level. This is why I'm worrying that the same requirement will be applied for these bonuses. I hope it wont happen, if Stake should implement it in the future, I think that time will be my last day as I wont do KYC for my gambling activity.

No, pre/post monthly bonus doesn't depend on the wager actually. We receive fixed amount during those bonuses, players recent wager doesn't create the impact (based on my experience). But weekly boost and monthly bonus amount mainly depends on the wager. From the How do Stake's Monthly Bonuses work? page

I do agree that it is certainly a great period where plinko was the second game that came to crypto world after dice. I remember those days, we were so bored of playing dice that we all rushed to play plinko. I couldn't imagine spending months gambling on any game and doing nothing else, but as long as you're having fun.  I definitely agree that plinko is the game to play if you're trying to kill a little time and have some fun.  I wonder sometimes about the transparency and provability of wins/losses when it comes to these and similar games.  I assume someone has put in the work to make sure it's all legit, but I confess that I haven't looked into it much myself.  Mostly because I'm not a big gambler.  I don't think Stake is up to anything shady and I have no reason to think that, but I always wonder how transparency can be improved or displayed more readily so there is never any doubt.
