Turning 48 bucks into 240k is a great deal, but that dude was risking it all basically, 48 bucks per bet is a huge deal for me, I would not have that kind of money at all, hell I deposit nearly that much monthly, meaning he wagered my whole months deposit with just one bet. Not saying that is a bad win at all, it is clearly a great win, there is no denying that and he probably made a profit as well.

It is really a great win.  It was said that he won that amount with just a single roll that day.  I don't know if he continues after that, but I bet he did while pocketing most of the won money.

But, when I see these big wins, I do not think about how that is awesome for the winner, I think about how much they must have spent so far, or will spend in the future, where it will make this win not a profit at all. I met with people who wagered more than 200k, and won 200k somewhere else, and he wasn't even in break even at that point even after winning 200k.

As I said it was an awesome win with just 1 try.  The amount he bet isn't that big at all considering we had witnessed many whales gambler betting more than a million dollars in one go.  Honestly, it was a motivating tweet with an interesting and entertaining reply if you happen to read through replies.

Everton!? Really? Oh my god, that is a huge huge deal. Don't get me wrong, Everton wasn't good at all this year, and there is no guarantee that it will stay next season neither, nor we seeing a ton of wins with our shirt on. But at the same time, we are talking about a team that has such a big history and mainly in EPL as well. I feel like they have as much of a chance to be in top half of the league as they have being in bottom half, which is a new big deal for us. Sure 10 million is a lot of money, and apparently a club record as well, but that is totally worth it for a team that could be 10th or so again! Wow! Amazing deal!

There's no denying that Everton didn't perform well last season and they almost became a relegated team, but being able to partnership with the EPL team is not easy, it requires big funds, especially if you want to have partnership with a team that has a better record than Everton.
Waiting for promos from stakes whether there will be special odds and so on in every Everton match, and hopefully their performances can be better in the latest season

I doubt that it would continue like that, I mean Everton didn't really had "that" much more wins than Watford, just 5 more wins all season, which is why I doubt that it would be that much of a big difference. However, it is still some money, with 250k each, that's 1.250 and that's not too bad, it is literally 12.5% of the whole contract for example.

I would say even if you drop it to 200k, that would make it a bit more even, then they paid 1.5 million last year, and would have been 2.2 million instead 700k difference, doable difference. Make it 100k and you will be in profit let alone be in a loss but I doubt it would fall that much, at that point they could simply remove it all together and do something else.

This isn't just about stake neither, I do not want to share the names of the other casinos because it could be like advertisement, but I know at least 4 other places that had ddos attack and failed to load. This means that there is a group attacking each good name website out there. Don't know why and by whose orders, but it is classic attack move by another casino for sure. The idea must be "if others are unavailable, everyone will come to us", and they are attacking the top mentioned places in bitcointalk as well, not just big names. Like a new place but high in topics here ends up getting attacked too. Its a scary thing, but its a temporary thing, it will pass and we will go back to normal for sure.

I did notice that in other ANN threads other members were also mentioning they were incapable of gambling at their favorite casinos, so the first thing I thought was this was a concerted attack against some of the casinos in this industry, however it did not occur to me that this could be the work of a competitor trying to steal clients form their competitors, and while we have no evidence this is the case, it is a theory that makes sense.
