I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?

I think yes but it is still depend on those people who use bitcoin. If this past 100 years there are people who still depend on bitcoin it may the bitcoin will long last in 100 years. It can't be unpredictable but I wish that it will be last until forever.

i wont have any believe that bitcoin may survive after 100 years, bitcoin has develope too much but also many problems have been discovered from bitcoin recently, so in not far future, bitcoin will be replaced by another better coin.

Well we cannot still conclude it yet right now since bitcoin is still having some trouble with some matters. Bitcoin has already shown its potential this year and we were all able to witness that but that doesn't guarantee the survival of bitcoin for so long. The value is falling once again and it may continue since the pump that happened was so fast. We should just trust bitcoin and support it for it to survive for a long time.

It's not impossible I think because we can also see how bitcoin fits as the future currency to be used by everyone in the world since it has been proving its credibility for a long time. Bitcoin might sooner be part of our living and we should always keep on supporting it no matter what so that we can benefit a lot in the future if ever it will survive.

I think if bitcoin will survive in the next 100 years it will take a very long time because not everyone will probably use bitcoin maybe people only know it but do not use it and i'm sure bitcoin will continue to be popular in long time

I think that Bitcoin has already survived its most difficult time and now it can only be better. Nobody can predict what will happen in 100 years, but we can assume what will happen. Thanks to the analysis of the market, you can conclude what will happen to Bitcoin, for example, in a week.
The forecast for the week is much easier to build.
I think that sooner than in 100 years another currency will appear, it will be more perfect than bitcoin. Perhaps bitcoin will exist, but its popularity will be very low

Don’t worry this numeric code will not be going to demolish. Things will be fine and odd along the way of bitcoins but that is not problem. Everything that came into this world, it have to absorb some badness and goodness of these people a problems created for this thing. Bitcoin is amazing now a days and most important thing is people are just trusting it for their own benefit.

I saw an article regarding to the years that bitcoin will exists, bitcoin will just stay 10 to 20 years, Mr. Warren Buffett said. He underestimated what bitcoin can do in the future. We don't know when bitcoin will last but the point is, we can see our brighter future because of bitcoin. 100 years for me is not enough to stay bitcoin because it can be long lasting due to its purpose and uses to the people.

100 years is a very long time, a lot of things are totally changed and we never expected if it is 100 years old and for bitcoin I expect it will be difficult to last up to 100 years.

In a society where everything changes very quickly I can not believe that bitcoin survives after 100 years, by then I think we will have another reference currency

I think Bitcoin has come to stay. It is easier to transact with and more nations all over the world are keying into it. It will gain more stability and take over the world in less than 100 years.

No one can predict it for the 100 years. We are leaving in the technology generation. You will see a new technology innovation and a big transformation in every 25 to 30 yrs. I believe, bitcoin will dominate the world for at least 30 yrs form here. After that, it will depends on the new innovations of that generation.

bitcoin of course the greatest opening of this century, but it is a lot of 100 years ahead. nobody can precisely tell. Example... look at our phones now and 15 years ago. everything changes too quickly. but it will be long competitive

So let's say 100 years from now BTC is the main currency of the world. Now I am 15, and a lot of other early investors are also pretty young. So in 100 years when the first people to invest in BTC start dying off, that is a lot of wallets with probably a good sum of BTC just left there forever. This is more dramatic then right now people forgetting they bought 5 or 10 BTC or just wallets that have 0.0002 BTC. Obviously BTC cannot survive forever unless their is a protocol to avoid this because it will continue to forever dwindle as more and more people die. This means there is absolutely 0 ways to get into that wallet because only they knew the password to it, again different from now where a person still alive might remember some and get Dave to help them (Shoutout to Dave). This could actually be a problem sooner than 100 years, most people won't make it 100 years. But mainly, what happens in 100 years when BTC is dwindling in numbers to to amounts left in a dead person wallet? Sure the hosting company could probably send it back out but what if it is paper, or what if it is a person who just forgot about it then they lose their BTC?
Paper wallets bring another dynamic to this also. I bet thousands of paper wallets will be lost, whether fire or water, accidentally throw away, or just plain forgotton.
Sure BTC could continue to rise in value to keep up, but a currency operating in the 0.0000000002 sense because of scarcity would probably end up failing

exactly we cant say on how long does this currency will exist for i think that in 100 years it will never be or maybe everything can changed for cause that was too much to exist for.

I still can not say anything interesting because the 100 year period is not a short time and it is still far in my mind. If should expect that It may happen. seeing from year to year the growth of bitcoin enthusiasts is getting more and bitcoin getting popular among the crowd so maybe it happens

Well, i don't think bitcoin will survive the next 100 years because there are few issues with bitcoin, like very high transaction fee and very slow transaction speed. Altcoins such as ripple and IOTA would easily replace bitcoin because they are very, very fast.
