I think if computer and internet will be able to survive for the next 100 years then Bitcoins and crypto currencies will do survive at the same time. Bitcoins is internet money and it has come to stay. Advance in technology and other factors like cost effective power generation will enable bitcoins to stay with us till eternity.

Very tough question . First of all, plz let us understand that BTC is not yet regulated globally , thats one of the main reason which question sits survival long time. ONly bTC team can answer this and their vision as well in terms of short term and long term .I had this doubt myself as in my country its not regulated yet and there are no signs of being regulated here .May be it may happen in the near future seeing the demand of BTC and usage, anything is possible.But i have no opinion on 100 years survival.

100 years it is very far from now, no one will know for sure what will happen, I believe the technology that they use is already very advanced and the possibility of paper money no longer in use.
Bitcoin i think will be one of global money in use at that time.

There is a chance that Bitcoin may survive for another 100 years. But I am not going to take any chances. By 2027, I will be selling at least 80% of my coins and diversifying to other assets such as real estate, equities, mutual funds, treasury bonds, ETFs and bullion bars. Concentrating all your wealth in one volatile asset is quite risky.

A 100 years is a vast and large amount of time, there are two possibilities in this one, bitcoin could survive given that the government will allow it and second it wouldn't be able to survive that long because of many users and it can't hold the cause.

a 100 years is too long can exist. I think in the next 10-20 years there will be a good enough altcoin to replace bitcoin.

100 years, I think that's a very far-fetched assumption. no one knows for sure the event will come except god. but if you look at the current bitcoin growth, I would expect bitcoin to continue to grow. especially if later many transactions can be done with bitcoin. for example, buy a car with bitcoin, buy a house with bitcoin. which is more important if bitcoin gets support from the government then it can be sure bitcoin in the future will be highly developed.

2140 is so far from our current year, and if you will be basing the state of bitcoin these days, bitcoin is not that good since there are some issues that are still need to be fixed and be developed.
