Thanks for answer!
As i can see there is no exchange where i can buy/sell INTS, right?
https://stocks.exchange/trade/ITNS/BTC
Lol, the price is 11sts. maybe we will close our pool.  Shocked
i rent a google VPS and cost about 40$/month. lol.

I accept your opinion although i can't actually agree with that simplistic conclusion... Most coins including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero, etc were not profitable to mine for some period of their existance... The ones that really profited with those coins were the ones that stucked with the analysis they have done on the project for the long term... Either way i understand everyone has bills to pay and must protect their investments...

What exactly is better about Intensecoin than other coins?

There are a lot of good points about Intense... We can start with the algo chosen by the dev team ( CryptoNight ) based on the CryptoNote protocol wich makes it a top privacy coin. Then we can talk about the decentralized p2p VPN that the dev team is building ( wich should be released alpha version in December ). Regarding more details on how the VPN will actually work, Alex has mentioned in previous posts that they are working on delivering the whitepaper.

On top of this, Alex also mentioned in previous posts, that they are a passionate team that is growing by the month with long term perspective in mind.

I have 1.2.0 wallet and how to upgrade on 1.2.2? Please can you writte to me step buy step what exactly to do. I use win 10 64

Sure, step by step: download the new wallet. Open the new wallet. The new wallet will use the same wallet file (.wallet) as the last one. That's it Smiley

thank you dev, but i use ubuntu. how i can use Wallets version 1.2.2???

My apologies, I have uploaded 1.2.2 GUI for linux x86_64 on github. Linux users represent a minority of our community members so the linux binaries are admittedly slower to be posted compared to other systems.

If you are asking how to update to the proper version of the daemon for your pool, just `git pull origin master` and rebuild your daemon.

I'm thinking about opening an ITNS pool to help decentralization cause right now the hashrate is spreaded between only 2 pools plus solo miners. I know nethash is still relatively low but the coin is young and I'm pretty sure it'll change as soon as the actual product will be released. Do you guys think there's a need for it? Let me know. There are a few pools going; Dr. Lecters, James Dawson, the "Pro" mining pool, and probably some others I'm forgetting!

I think hybrid POW means you can use GPU to mine or use Shovel to mine. I'm new in cryptocurrency, correct me if i'm wrong, thanks!

Been mining with your pool too and would be disappointed to see it go, but I certainly can understand if you close up shop.

But question... Is the double payments thing I've noticed past few days by design, or bug?

Say I earn 100 coins for a block... It will now send me 2 payouts of 100 each (so I get a free 100), and I'll now have a balance of -100 for the account page where all future blocks have to whittle away at that -100 before the next payout can happen.

So on one hand it seems like a way to limit amount of tx's sent, but on the other hand it seems kind of like an unintended bug that can be exploited by pool hoppers for free extra coin.

intensepool.net

Intensepool.net has broke the 20Kh/s Mark.

We are currently working on building a Wiki to assist new miners.
http://wiki.intensepool.net

We are offering bounties for the following content:

  • GPU mining on Windows
  • CPU mining on Windows

We are also working on building a list of hardware benchmarks so it would be interesting to hear what hardware and software + settings people are using.

Indeed you can check Monero's benchmarks. It's the same stats you'll get.

I'm mining with some GTX 1060 6GB (Zotac Mini, Asus Turbo, Gigabyte WF), hashrate can vary from 520-560H/s per card (Around 3.1KH/s for 6 cards rigs) depending on the brand/model/luck.

I'm using ccminer-cryptonight 2.04 (64 bit) for nVidia GPUs by tsiv and KlausT. Setting are: PL 75%, GPU -100, MEM +850 for Asus and Gigabyte and MEM +600 for Zotac. Can't get more than that with Zotac so far.

They are all Samsung memory btw.

Cryptonight is a good algo to mine, less heat, less electricity but those cryptonotes sound like a pain to code! Hope devs will get those VPN working, still holding.
