i just have a question im mining dgc at 500kh/s and in the calculator on it says im going to get about 45 dgc per day and i have been mining for 12 houres and only got 5? is the pool steeling im mining at http://digicoinpool.comThat's one of Big Vern's pools, right? Those pool's payments are always off for me aswell switch to http://dgc.epools.org, i've been mining there for nearly 24 hours straight now and made 68 DGC so far (1.5 hours to go for the 24h mark)

Are there currently any DGC projects/services under development?
Does roulette count as a service Well, not for me, but i am sure it does for someone

I have used the other cypto pools he hosts and they are great as well.

do you guys think a pool located closer geographically would be better than either of the two recommended pools?
I had no problems mining on a pool in France from the Western United States. Might have increased my rejects a little but it worked fine.

We must spread the hashrate out. Please move away from http://dgc.epools.org, its over 50% of the network. You can find a new place to mine below or go solo like me: Pushpool: http://digitalcoin.scryptmining.com - nearmiss | 2% | stratum | PPS | New York, NY, United States (ServerStack) http://digitalcoinpool.com - ethought | 1% | getwork, stratum | PPLNS | Nuremberg, Germany (HETZNER) http://dgc.epools.org - erundook | 1.5% | stratum | Prop. | Bucharest, Romania (Voxility) http://dgc.cryptocoinmine.com - dreamwatcher | 1% | LP, stratum | PPLNS | Dallas, TX ,United States (SoftLayer) http://digi.cryptcoins.net - MarKusRomanus | 0% | stratum | PPLNS | Quakertown, PA, United States (Verizon) http://dgc.coinmine.pl - feeleep | 0% | stratum | PPLNS | Lodz, Poland (IWACOM) http://digitalize.bounceme.net - akabane | 1% | stratum | PPS | Paris, France (OVH) http://digicoinpool.com - BigVern | 2% | getwork | PPLNS | San Antonio, TX, United States (Rackspace) P2pool: http://p2pool-dgc.com:9500 - fenican | 1% | Ashburn, VA, United States (Amazon) http://pool.bounceme.net:24397 - akabane | 0% | Paris, France (OVH) http://95.211.25.2:24397 - akabane | 0% | Amsterdam, Netherlands (LeaseWeb) http://p2pool.dsync.net:21111 - x3maniac | 0% | Yaphank, NY, United States (Optimum) http://dgc.xpool.net:8810 - CartmanSPC | 0% | Irvine, CA, United States (SAVVIS) http://crypto-coins.de:8907 - schnebi | 1% | Dusseldorf, Germany (myLoc) http://gldmine.info:9788 - schlopper | 1% | Quebec, Montreal, Canada (Protected.CA) http://s01.plurapool.com:24397 - plurapool | 1% | Atlanta, GA, United States (Namecheap) http://next.afraid.org:8119 - faraway | 2% | Paris, France (Free) http://pool.1nusa.org:8119 - faraway | 2% | Portland, OR, United States (Amazon) http://208.117.43.200:5400 - Decagrog | 0.5% | Chicago, USA (Geekstorage) http://mineallcoins.com:19327 - napoleon2121 | 1% | Paris, France (OVH)

http://digitalcoin.scryptmining.com is a Scam. I just mined for 18 hrs and got half the coins I should have. Mining at 2150 KH/s -estimated 270 coins/day. I have 105 after 18 hrs. How difficult is it to solomine on linux? or where can I find a pool that actually pays as it should? Edit: Or maybe my low payout is a function of pool luck?

I haven't used that pool so I can't comment on its effiencency. When I pool mine I stick to the no-registration p2pools. And estimates are just that. Solo mining is just as easy to setup as pool mining. What program are you mining with now? cgminer?

An estimate is an estimate but all the legitimate pools I've been involved with are very close to estimates - off by +/- a couple percent. When I get on a pool where I am off the estimate by 50% then something just isn't right. It is usually these pools with the generic setup that all look the same which gyp you on the coins. I am running cgminer but I do not have a DGC-qt installed on my rig.

People need to relax a bit and not scream scam at the first sign of trouble. My pool has been operating since launch and I've had some of the biggest hashers around stop by, never had any complaints. I'm afk this morning but will take a look into it later today. Don't just look at 'coins per day'. Look at the blocks the pool has solved, do you think you were paid out unfairly for that amount of blocks?

Just 1 or 2 lines need to be added to the digitalcoin.conf

Look at the blocks the pool has solved, do you think you were paid out unfairly for that amount of blocks? Does your pool average out over time to provide the estimated coins per day? If not then what is the point of mining it? If I mine DGC based on 270 coins per day at my hashrate but I get half that then there isn't any reason to mine it. See what I am getting at?

hey guys, can we get some people on fenican's please? http://p2pool-dgc.com:9500 - fenican | 1% | Ashburn, VA, United States (Amazon) not sure why everyone mining DGC is on 1 of about 2-3 major pools... isn't that against the spirit of decentralization? not hating on the other pools, but come on there's no advantage to being in a pool which has almost half the hashing power of the whole network...

Well, i'm mining on dgc.epools because it's giving me the highest payout of any dgc server , either p2pool or pushpool
