My pool was out for a couple of hours this morning - looks like the DGC client had frozen up and wasn't taking requests. Hence, we weren't finding any blocks during that period.
It has been restored to normal operation

Kinda noob question here. But if we were under attack how would we know? Looking for a informative answer.(Textwall appreciated.) Seems like there is no solid info on this "issue".

These is no issue. We're not attacked and won't be.

To anyone currently mining @ http://digitalcoin.scryptmining.com please note we are in the process of moving servers. To try and cause the least amount of disruption to mining, I've brought up a brand new pool @ http://dgc.scryptmining.com . I've copied over all your user and worker info, as well as your payout addresses and threshold's. The only thing you'd have to change to start mining the new pool is the stratum URL, which is now: stratum+tcp://mine-dgc.scryptmining.com:3388 Note: I did *NOT* transfer over your balances from the current/old pool. It seemed slightly less disruptive to let people withdraw their funds as they'd like over the next couple days, and just have to switch their miners, then having a hard cut-over from one pool to the other. However, if you'd like your balance simply moved over to the new site, I can certainly do that, just send me a PM with your username. Any funds not withdrawn at the old pool before it comes down in a couple days, will of course simply be automatically moved to your account at the new one. Nothing will be lost! So in short, please come join us at the new pool @ http://dgc.scryptmining.com as soon as you can. All it requires is the new stratum URL in your mining clients. Thanks for the hashrate support. Edit: I'll be sending out some pm's to miners regarding this as well (for those that I can find on here based on site usernames).

Good stuff Nearmiss, I have moved across all my miners to the new location. DGC holding steady, only a matter of time before it grows - just waiting patiently for the fog of the other rubbish Cryptos to subside

Because most people aren't selling. I know I'm busy hoarding. But people are selling. Its at what.. 0.00028xxx to 0.00026? i know there's almost no buy walls on any of the exchanges but im worried that miners are just going to run this coin into the ground. On the flip side the diff. is going down, but it looks like short term LTC is going to be more profitable to mine. I'm wondering whether i should mine DGC exclusively anymore.. DGC Is way more valuable in my eyes, more than FTC which has bull crap "fun to mine lel" logic with 366 million coins and at 0.00120- 0.00080. Flame me for being pessimistic but i as i said i just don't DGC to get bad rep, especially when BTC-E is watching it closely. I'd love to hear your guys thoughts on this

Is there any DGC related project, you are currently working on?

Did anyone else noticed that Network hashrate is around 380Mh/s I remember that few days ago it was around 800Mh/s... Did miners lost trust into DGC?

Did anyone else noticed that Network hashrate is around 380Mh/s I remember that few days ago it was around 800Mh/s... Did miners lost trust into DGC? I think the answer is growing price of LTC https://www.litecoinpool.org/charts thus growing LTC network hashrate. Many miners are curenttly mining LTC, because it is expected to be on Mt.Gox soon - another price growing so everyone wants as many as possible. So no, I think it has nothing to do with trust in DGC.

I am taking advantage of the lull in mining, to switch the CryptoCoin mine to the updated PPS pool software. So the pool will be down for a few hours (Nobody was mining it at the moment anyway).
