Hello pals, Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people? I really appreciate if you guys give me some answers
Is your house secure? Did you make necessary measures so no one could get in and steal your stuff? If you did, up to what level is your house/home secured to insure your family’s safety? See, even in our own homes, risk exist. Same with bitcoin. You need to choose the wallet and exchange sites you think has the best security features to safekeep your coins. And if ever the account gets hacked, it’s more of the owner’s negligence..

It has enough security if you secure your personal information. It depends on your own management. But I think there are still some good hackers so make sure your wallets are secured and no one has access to it except you.

I think bitcoin is very safe, but there are times when we have to prevent the worst possible, indeed to access the wallet in need of lots of code to be able to access it of course it is very helpful to improve security bitcoin we have, and be careful because many web fhishing scattered , for the use of bitcoin it's a relief where we all use it, if you use it in a positive way I think it will have good effect for you, and the reverse, government ban for bitcoin I think it will not happen, because it will be many parties who are harmed in this case, certainly those who depend on bitcoin to meet their needs

what I understand about bitcoin is it is cryptocurrency, and it is on the internet. everything on the internet is not safe. well, there is no safe system. are all at risk for hacking. so many great hackers out there.
Yes but there are secured wallets out there which you can download for free and have your private keys kept well either by writing ans saving them on a paper or keeping them on a flash drive and hide them from all potential hackers.

So basically the personal information about the owner of bitcoin (private key, password of wallet and other) are not secure there are chance the other people to hack it and taking the bitcoin from the wallet, but the bitcoin's network/blockchain is very secure until right now there are no issues about the bitcoin's network be found and some people can not manipulate the bitcoin's network for personal purpose.

That is what they need in order to make sure the security of their bitcoin is to have an offline wallet where they can put their bitcoin and keep it for long term because the hackers are so attracted to the bitcoins because of its high value so finding some vulnerable wallet is what they want and to avoid getting hacked then just get an offline wallet like paper wallet or hardware wallet.

It's as secure as you want it too be. Keep your private keys safe and have a very good password and you'll be fine. The encryption sha-256 is unbreakable at this time

Just like those ads that says it will kill 99.9 percent germs not 100 percent the same can be said to bitcoin its not 100 percent but it is super close. It is really hard for a person to hack bitcoin or system but there is a chance they can hack trading sites and your wallet. Overall bitcoin is super secure.

Bitcoin has existed for over eight years and has never had any accounts hacked by any hacker in the world, so Bitcoin is completely secure and secure. In addition, because they do not disclose their account information, they do not have the right to know anyone who is trading illegally so they can not stop it. I am also worried that someday, the government will ban the use of Bitcoin and consider it a criminal offense.

Bitcoin is really secure. Actually, when it comes to money matters the developers make it sure to be well secured because it may affect the users. The government cannot just ban bitcoin, because there’s nothing illegal about it.
