Hello pals,
Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?
for 8 years they have been trying and failing.

Quote
Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins?
the code!
it is a cryptocurrency and that means bitcoin uses cryptography to achieve that security. the cryptography that is being used in other places in the world too. and that makes it safe.

Quote
Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
what does this have anything to do with bitcoin security?

For the longest time, I have been wondering about how secure bitcoin really is. I have never imagined that it will be unhackable because of the code. Are codes unique and cannot be duplicated? What are the circumstances in your opinion will these codes to not be secured?

The third point, I understand. The point is can bitcoin track down users who use bitcoin for illegal transactions and actually shut them off bitcoin? I think this is part of security because it is how bitcoin protect other users as well.

In my opinion yes, bitcoin is secure and safe. For now, I don’t have any problem with my bitcoin wallet, because I have my private key and another address key. In bitcoin I don’t have any apprehension, because the identity that I put are just less and limited.

Bitcoin is really secure because there are no reports that fake bitcoin is being generated. If bitcoin is not that secured then there would be an outrage of supply of bitcoin. Bitcoin is really secure because you can set your own password even after they have already given you a private key. So you have to input both the private key and the password to enter your wallet which has double protection. There are also no reports that their account was stolen because they forgot to log it off, but carelessness will lead to stolen accounts and identities.

You are right, but the blockchain technology it's too strong, so maybe it's too hard to be hacked. I believe too much on bitcoin and for the security of bitcoin, so maybe it will be a new upgrade for this technology and it will be more secured. Personally, I don't think that bitcoin will be hacked one day, I just trust and believe on it, and I think a lot of people do like me.

The security of BTC depends on us, on our behaviour. We need to keep our private keys in a safe place and make backup of our wallets.
Is BTC a good investment for the next 5 years? Yes! But what will happen in the next 20-50 years? It is impossible to predict.

depends on the use you make and how to store them. I recommend you to create a wallet-qt, I think it's the safest one. keeping them parked in the various exchanges is always a risk due to the increasing number of hacker attacks. Always enable the 2fa factor for protection and many wallets are very secured in a way that it has own authentications.

Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers

Yes, it is. Bitcoin has developed it's security throughout the years. I can say that it is really advance now than before. When you have something as valuable as bitcoin, you really make it a point to make it so secure, so that the user will feel safe.

True, the wallet is probably what matters most to users. The protocol itself is safe as well, no fake coins have been generated so far.

Yes bitcoin is really secure. no one can steal bitcoin, except for our own carelessness. Smiley
The government can not be that easy to ban bitcoin transactions, because bitcoin is the future.

I dont think so that bitcoin is really secured since it is online. Everything that involves online  and technology is not really secured because scammers now is very smart and wise. So as you can said we should always take care when we are transacting online. I wish that bitcoin will be much secured so that a lot of investors will going to invest.

Bitcoin is actually secured properly. No one even dares to create a fake coin. All transactions here on the internet is well secured. What makes it not secured is up to its users. It's up to how they take care of their account so that no one can hack it. What's good about its security is that it also protect and secure the transactions of its users.

It is secure, if you use your wallet securely.

It is secure, if you manage it in the very same way you use your other accounts that means take security related cautions, use secure passwords, surf through safe sites, never disclose details to anyone else, never keep all details in one place.

A smart hacker can hack the system only if you are careless. And, in case of Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency, our small carelessness cost us a lot

Bitcoin is the most safe coin at the moment, wich no one can control neither attack since the shield around it is the hash wich keeps increase all days, soo to break it would need 51% total hash, wich means milions investment. There are some wallets wich need to raise a lot their security since bitcoin has becamed a target of hackers.

By enabling 2FA for web wallet users it is almost impossible for bitcoin to be stolen, so it can be concluded that bitcoin is very safe from theft, but it is not safe if we forget PIN or private key.

The security of your bitcoin is more in your hand, bitcoin hhas been designed in a way to ensure safety of our currency. You have your wallet, the password and private keys which are expected to be kept confidential. So, simply adhering to the instruction makes your kept coin safe enough. One should also be watchful enough against scam.
