hi, I created a program that calculate how many people are writing in the forum "Announcements (Altcoins)" and "Announcements(Tokens)" I would like to hear your thoughts is it worth and what can be improved github source code https://github.com/sandiks/xcrawler-bctYou idea might be great but we need to understand the full purpose of this creation. Knowing the number of people that are writing in the forum Announcement might give us an idea about the number of projects people are announcing in the forum and the number of participant. This is a welcome development.

That is great piece of code man but how about making a set of instructions that will tell the computer to notify us whenever someone quoted our post? That way, we can never missed to see the reply by others on our post whether we need to reply on it or not.

That is great piece of code man but how about making a set of instructions that will tell the computer to notify us whenever someone quoted our post? That way, we can never missed to see the reply by others on our post whether we need to reply on it or not. its not difficult this code replaces quoted post with tid and post id def self.remove_quote(text) ptext = Nokogiri::HTML.fragment(text)
ptext.css('div.quoteheader').each do |el| if el.css("a").size>0 href=el.css("a")[0]['href'] th_m = href.split("topic=").last.scan(/\d+/) nnode = "[q #{th_m[0]}.#{th_m[1]}]" el.add_next_sibling nnode end end
ptext.css("div.quoteheader").remove ptext.css("div.quote").remove
#node.remove ptext.to_html end
