If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die?

Can anybody of you supply me with the example of something, something new and interesting (invention, technology, phenomenon)
in history of humanity which "died"? Was not replaced by something new or improved or refined but exhaled like an old raccoon on the road?

In my own opinion, if bitcoin dies altcoin will die too because both of them has a connection to each other. But it still depends in a situation like what if bitcoin dumps in the market and altcoin pumps up, altcoin surely would not die because bitcoin do not have anymore value if that happens.

Until the bubble of the cryptocurrency world be end, you will not see Bitcoin or Altcoin die, I do not think only Bitcoin dies or Altcoin dies can make others cryptocurrencies die too. Because the whale are the mover of the market and they will choose one of both or both to control the trending.

I think although bitcoin is the source of trading all crypto currencies, but I do not believe if bitcoin dies then altcoin will die, maybe there will be new coins that have better features than bitcoin that seems to replace bitcoin role.
Maybe you believe in human "reincarnation" and that might happen to bitcoin.

I don't think that it works that way i think that if bitcoin goes up then altcoins die and if altcoins go up then bitcoin dies.
So i think you should invest in both to make the most profit for yourself.

bitcoin is not going to die for sure . many countries are starting to make its own cryptocurrency and bitcoin is still on the top . and altcoin will make its own rank as same as bitcoin ..

In addition to Bitcoin, there are still some other great Altcoin that can help you switch to fiat like ETH for example. So while Bitcoin dies, other Altcoins are still functioning and developing. There will still be a coin to replace the current position of BItcoin because the virtual money market is a necessity in the future so it will never go away.

It has a connection, but i think that if bitcoin dies many people would buy altcoins instead of bitcoins. This will allow altcoins to rise very high and take bitcoins place instead.

You can also see at the stats now that altcoin is rising just because bitcoin has dropped a little bit.

bitcoin will die I think it is too far in thinking in the future if my opinion bitcoin will evolve along with the development of technology and the world economy I am very sure of it and I expect bitcoin will grow more rapidly in the future

Altcoins aren't bitcoin dependant and don't necessairly need bitcoin to maintain their cycle of life . In fact they will benefit from bitcoin's disappearance since people will have to use them as replacement for bitcoin .

Do you understand the technology and the nature of Bitcoin with the world's economy and financial?
Its nature really can not help Bitcoin become to the world's currency, because it can not manage by the government or anyone.
But the fact, it can control through the Bitcoin miner, if more than 51% hashrate of Bitcoin miners cooperate to control Bitcoin system, they have enough the requirement to control Bitcoin.

if the bitcoin dies then altcoin will compete to be the best digital currency, and I do not think bitcoin will ever die. bitcoin will always evolve in the future.

I guess, if bitcoin will fail or die it won't really affect altcoin. But if it is reasonable that it just lose as the same manner the altcoin could, it is possible. It is still depending on the possible cause and how could it really affect the cryptocurrencies. Altcoins are like under bitcoin currencies so they are either joined or separated.

If bitcoin die something will replace it. But if this whole world of cryptocurrency got breached, which is something impossible atm, then everything's done for.
