OK, quick question - little off-topic (X10)
For the last 5 days my Baikal Giant+'s, which are (were) stable as hell for months and have been pulling in about $12 USD last 2-3 weeks ... just started going offline. All of them, not at same time, but all are going down 3-4 times a day.
1) Nothing changed with units, networking, environment (Ambient Room Temp = 56f), miners are nice and cool. 2) Power Supplies are cool 3) Blue light starts blinking and they are inactive, have to disconnect power and reconnect and they come back for awhile.
Anyone else having this issue all of a sudden?
Could it be the pool you are mining at?

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I purchased an APW3++ 18 connector for the power supply. You guys think that is overkill? I was planning on running two L3s with the power supply in the case that I sell the miner before I get it.
Yes, thats overkill, you could run 2 x10's on the X11 algo or easily 3 x10's on any other algo with that. Any 700+ watt PSU with 6 6-pin connectors should be enough to run a x10. Prices of these PSU's should start at around 80 USD.

Thank you for your reply. My electrical knowledge is not the greatest so excuse the ignorance. Basically, the power supply is overkill due to the price of the unit correct? What I understand is that the APW that I purchased is just capable of supplying more power on demand. Or am I wrong here?

No problem Yes you are right, your APW can provide way more power than you need for the X10 miner. A cheaper PSU would also be enough to power it. That being said, it would work just fine. But if you can sell the APW for a better price than the cost of a cheaper PSU you would have a little profit.

Did you get it from Baikal or ASIC Miner Market?
I got it straight from baikal the same hour the pre order opens up I sent an email, was told I could only purchase 1 miner though... but 1 is better than none so didn’t even complain. It was a pain dealing with this back and fourth it’s them. But I just figured I’d stay calm and not get on their bad side. I got the miner around 9am I believe from DHL, and it was wrapped with many layers of Saran Wrap, and came with 3 sets of cables ( 1 in 2 outs per cable ) Who knows if they went by when you ordered or alphabetical order of last name ( I’m A ) either way, hopefully everyone else gets theirs in soon too. so from your pictures it looks like to power x10 you need only 3 pci-e sockets and not 6? As on cable has one in and two out connections. You need 6 6pin pcie, I’m just using the adapters they included. ok, thanks. As I understand this psu should work for baikal x10? http://www.enermax.co.uk/triathlor-eco/I recommend to buy a "HP DPS-1200FB A". They are excellent quality, on ebay very cheap and perfect for mining with a breakoutboard. Look at parallelminer.com to get more info. thanks. this is the same item, right? https://www.ebay.com/itm/HP-Power-Supply-Netzteil-1200W-HSTNS-PD11-DPS-1200FB-A-438202-002/112626429399?hash=item1a390eedd7:g:UisAAOSwXYtYz6xGdoes it has protection circuitry of OVP, OPP and SCP? Yes, it should be the same. Try searching for "656364-B21". This one is platinum certificated. And of course they have all protections. These are built to work 24/7 in HP-Servers. If you search for the product at HP website, you will find out, the normal price is around 350-400 $!!! On ebay you find super-dealz (maybe the sellers dont know the real value)! This is my power supply...waiting for something to connect to.

Use this rule for figuring out your power supply. Max Wattage * 0.70 .. I personally shoot for closer to 50% but of course that costs more. Why? The harder your power supply works, the louder it is, the hotter it is, and it will have a shorter lifespan - Not to mention most power supply companies rate the power supply (80, Gold, Platinum, etc) at around 50% anyway. So, with that said you can go one of two ways with your X10's. 1) If you will not mine x11 (630W) - you can get a EVGA SuperNOVA 1600 T2 80+ TITANIUM ... one hell of a great power supply yet steep on price. It will most likely still be running just like new after your dead. $400 USD. You can run 3 X10's on this. 2) Go the Suggested HP 1200W. Use one per unit (x11) would be ok on this one. Thing is with these is the fan is tiny and it does not breath well. It is a solid reliable power supply. You will have a breakout board on one side and the AC power cable on the other. A bit messy. If you WILL NOT mine x11, you can get away with 2ea X10's on each one, but for the price ($55-$75) i would go one per. The first option, the EVGA PS will cost you almost twice as much per unit, but you will have a lifetime, quality power supply with no issue. Plus, if you eve get out of mining, you can cleanup, rebox and sell it. The HP's are cheaper, reliable - yet, noisy, hot and messy setup. I have one EVGA SuperNOVA 1600 T2 80+ TITANIUM PS for every 3 x10's (if they ever come). I will not be mining x11. https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperNOVA-TITANIUM-Crossfire-220-T2-1600-X1/dp/B00R33ZBQU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1511447508&sr=8-1&keywords=evga+1600+titanium

Thank you for a help and usefull info NlaakStudios and crytotronik. I have checked ebay, cheap options for HP DPS-1200FB A are either sold out or used items and I would like to buy new psu as I used to buy new things So I found on ebay brand new HP DPS-1200FB A for a 94 eur with shipping + supply Breakout Board Adapter for 10 EUR + plus shipping. Do I need additional cables for x10 or not? So all in all it will cost 110 - 120 EUR. I can get a new 1000 W PSU (ENERMAX TRIATHLOR ECO 1000W 80PLUS BRONZE) with guarantee in my local shop for 130 - 140 EUR. Wondering which way to go, as i want quiet, not noisy psu...

We need an American or Canadian company to start building some asics. These damn Chinese companies have zero integrity. They need to face consequences if things are to change for the better in the mining space. Otherwise the dream of a decentralized mining community will go down the drain and the mining manufacturers will be the new banksters.

LOL I had a dream last-night that I bought out Baikal and re-launched under new management. I think they have a great product and can go head to head with Bitmain. But, they have piss poor management. But that brings us to the problem of building in the US. Thanks to our lovely government, red tape, etc. the same product would probably cost $10k each. So you would really just want to buy out the hardware / software designs (for the rights). Then have ASIC chips, boards, etc build,m bought from larger more reputable companies, and then shipping to say Vietnam for assembly. When all units are done, no batches, they will be sent out in sequence of order number. Throw in a nice modern website, many payment options and order status like this. Track your order on our website. The available status states (in order) are: - Placed Your order was placed, confirmed. - Cleared Your payment cleared, Your locked in. - Pending Your system is in Build Que, but not yet being build. - Prepare Your system is in que for packing - Packing Your system is now being packaged for shipping - Shipped Your system has been shipped, Tracking number attached. LOL, Anyway was just a dream ... Or IS it? hmmmm

it aint a pointless reply. NiceHash says about 50$ a day but as far as I understood from the posts here, only active miners are two in the states, 1 somewhere in asia, rest is being mined by asicminermarket ... So once they actually ship the hundreds of Baikals you'll actually see what they can do and what they cant. Its pointless to ask because until asicminermarket stops mining with all the Baikals ordered, income will for sure decrease ... check the latest difficulty risings
