The trades, deposits, withdrawal and fees records are a complete mess.  Is it too hard to break it down better for us, year end totals would have been nice, fee totals would have been nice.  For all the money I spent on fees this year, the debt card records were a complete joke too.  If I cant explain it to my accountant then who the fuck can?

Looks like people are seeing the truth.. Let me ask Cavirtex this though.. How come when "Joseph David" was asked to speak to our government  he had to bring his lawyer with him and have him sit by is side and hold his hand?

When US exchange owners were asked to speak in front of the NY senate committee hearings none of them showed up with a lawyer to speak for them.


In fairness, that was not his lawyer. That was Larry O'Brien: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_O'Brien_(Canadian_politician). The 58th Mayor of Ottawa - and good personal friend of many of the Senators. Not a bad guy to have in their corner at all.

Also takes away from a lot of your claims about Virtex not being a legitimate business.


I never once said they were not a legitimate business, I just said they run it like monkeys. Its legit, but who wants to use a site where you have to call customer service reps and prey to god they don't sell or steel your private information. And good luck trying to track down "Joseph David" if cavirtex goes belly up. All yall will be holding each others hands in front of a UPS store with some timmys waiting for Joseph to pick up the mail.. HAHHA...

Its ok though, I believe people are starting to get the message.

Why are withdrawals getting stuck?  It NEVER took 5 days before, wtf is going on there!!!!!

...and dont blame it on my bank, its been 6 business days(my bank is open sat)

We are committed to constantly enhance our services, and we've been closely monitoring feedback from our customers for ways to improve our exchange. On that note, we have three big announcements.

1) TRADING FEES REDUCED BY OVER 50%!

The Bitcoin exchange business is rapidly growing around the world. To stay competitive we are drastically reducing our fees! Unlike other exchanges, we give you credit for 120 days of BTC volume, not just 30, so if you trade 100 BTC and 3 months pass, you would still qualify for our second fee level of 0.6%! Our new fee structure is now live at www.cavirtex.com/fees.

120 Day BTC Volume - Fee
Less than 100 0.75%
Less than 200 0.6%
Less than 300 0.5%
Less than 400 0.4%
Less than 600 0.3%
Greater than 600 0.2%

2) FREE IN-PERSON DEPOSITS ACROSS CANADA WITH DEBIT OR CASH

We're excited to announce the in-person bill payment deposit option, and to celebrate we're making it FREE until July 1st, 2014. Using this option you can deposit up to $9,500 at any MoneyMart, CashMoney or InstaCheques location. To complete a deposit this way, simply setup the deposit invoice within your CAVIRTEX account from the Deposit CAD section and then go to any participating MoneyMart, CashMoney, or InstaCheques to pay it using your debit card or cash. Our site will show a fee until an update on June 8th, 2014, but they are FREE as of now. To get a fee refund simply submit a ticket.

3) ACCESS THE TRADING API

Our new trading API is available! This new system lets software developers integrate CAVIRTEX trades into their own systems with endless possibilities. Did a withdraw 8 days ago and still nothing. They aren't even answering calls, just drops the call everytime I call in.

edit: Received a quick call-back after an email and pm. Was told it was a technical issue and I should receive my withdraw soon.

From what I am hearing now, there is some serious withdrawal problems happening.  My withdrawal isnt the only one and its quite substantial...

But you had to see this coming months ago when I pointed out all the red flags, you though, just wanted to give me shit and stand up for these guys. How can you trust a company who holds your whole crypto life in their hands, not to mention all your personal financial information, uses a PO box, fake names and work from home customer service reps.

I hope you're with Vault of Satoshi, they will be the new leaders soon!

Just saw that I received my withdraw. Never had any issues over the years so I think this is just a one time thing

Just saw that I received my withdraw. Never had any issues over the years so I think this is just a one time thing

My first problem too and no withdrawal yet.  At least they contacted you.

The deposit and withdrawal process has recently been changed, and our development team had to work out some of the issues. This has also caused a delay with customers receiving their micro deposits. These have now been completed and your funds should be in your VirtEx account/ bank account no later than the end of next week. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
