Meditation have the following benefits to human, (1) meditation reduces anxiety attacks by lowering the levels of blood. (2)it can lead to a deeper level of physical relaxation.

in my opinion, meditation purpose is to concentrate to zero mind ( relaxation ) and make mind positive and calm.
it will the stress away from us.
actually meditation is good for everybody but recently just old people do it.

meditation is a very useful thing,it not only soothes the mind and the breath,but helps to see the essence of things,as they say only in calm and silence,we can more properly analyze the situations and circumstances,to find some new methods to solve the situation,success and so on

Mind clearing achieving more focus. Meditation serves as destressing to some people especially people undergoing stress. Meditation can also be used to take focus out from pain using guided imagery.

meditation is all about spiritual evaluation and cultivation. the whole hearth must be yielded to God, or the change can  never be wrought in us by which we are to be restored to the likeness of God. by nature we are alienated from God. by death in trespasses and sins, the whole head is sick, and the whole hearth faint.. no soundness in it. We are held fast in the snare of evil, taken captive by evil at his will. God desire to heal us, to set us free. But since this requires an entire transformation, a renewing of our whole nature, we must yield ourselves wholly to Him. it is a benefits of meditation. I have never seen meditation to actually work at all, how can one clear his or her mind of all worry in this current world where everything bad is always happening.

Actually, meditation is related with concentrate in mind. The true benefit i think to erase mind problem that can make stress.

While meditation is considered a placebo effect, I cannot disagree that it does have an extremely positive effect on someone's life.
I can even suggest that meditation should be taught in schools don't you think?
