I cannot see how it could be. It's a cryptonote so people will point their Ryzen 16 cores at it and inevitably your poor old phone will be as effective a miner as a Dutchman trying to scoop out a flooded dyke with a teaspoon. Plus you are tethered to wifi unless you have unlimited mobile data.
I fear that would be the case! But the image of "Dutchman trying to scoop out a flooded dyke with a teaspoon" is hilarious I don't think it could be profitable. I would of course be interested in it if it could work, I just don't see that it could.

mining on mobile phone sounds good, everyone who do mining or similar things would like to move beside the computer but this is really tiring. mobile phone is easier and more handy but i am not sure if mobile phone is able to do all processes as good as computer.

I think it would be very convenient if you could just mine using your mobile phones. I would try mining if that is given an option for mining. Hopefully some people here who are into mining would share us if ever there is so some people could try it.

Don't be silly- mining is not only about blockchain technology- it's mainly about hardware and cellphones hardware is no match for a PC- so despite some investors going to the blue moon talking about mining on your phone future all of us should be back to Earth and rethink the way a simple coin can replace a more complicated one. Simple would not be effectively protected from extra mining by PCs and it will be pretty much like BitcoinCash- professional miners with most professional and expensive hardware will turn up and will drop the price down and leave all cellphone miners behind...

minng on mobile phone android or ios phone? my opinion I think a very good idea to do mining on the mobile phone, because a lot of that can be done on the mobile media, for example can be brought anywhere, can be accessed anytime and anywhere, and faster. The actual gain would be very small if you are talking about conventional cryptocurrency or bitcoin itself and it will just ruin your gadgets if this happen those who invest with mining rig will be at their loss, I'm not sure if this can be possible by using apps like nicehash inside your mobile devices.

Will it be easy? I can not realize. As you know even laptop is not enough for mining.

I think mining using mobile phone will result in tremendous battery drain in a short period of time. Think of this, mining will use a lot of power using your GPU processor and data wi-fi or mobile. You're going to lose you're mobile that's worth more than hundred folds of value than what you're getting from mining.

mining using mobile phone in my opinion will not maximize its revenue and will damage the mobile phone that we have, because the phone is not designed to do mining.

I will say it's not recommended at all. There are already a few apps on the market that lets you mine and I have tried them before. Firstly, it is MUCH slower as compared to mining on computer/laptop. Sencodly, would you want your phone to be constantly on screen and heat it up so bad that it cannot even last half a day? Lastly, phones are seriously not meant for mining and i strongly suggest against it.

I am not sure. I know that the cpu of phones are getting more and more powerful. But the battery will really be a issue. The battery capacity of the cellphone is too small. It will run out very quickly if you mine something on your phone.

Sounds too good to be true... I'm sure it would suck up all power and battery on the phone and the profits would probably be very low

Would you be interested in a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain that can easily be mined on both android and iOS phones?
It is not possible to mine any crypto through mobile right now because of high mining difficulty of almost all coin and if there will be some new coin out there in future, than it will be not worth to mine because mining difficulty for it can increase insanely high in no time. Some cloud mining platform are developing mobile apps for their service but that can't be referred as mobile mining. You absolutely got the point of it. However, as our technology grows on crytocurrencies and mining coins, there is a great possibility as well probably in the future to have it. But for now, that is not really possible to happened. But yes, that can be but this will take much time to work it smoothly.
