Gambling is the wagering of money or something of value on an event with an uncertain outcome with the primary intent of winning money or material goods.
Bitcoin is not gambling. Bitcoin can be used for gambling purposes, but initially Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency with plenty of utilities.
You cannot say Internet is gambling only because of online Casino websites in internet.

I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.
Bitcoin is not really a gamble but if you are going to try earning through it, you can consider it as a gamble knowing that it is risky and the assurance that you will win is not that pure. Gambling is a way to earn here in bitcoin and we all know how dangerous it is. Bitcoin can be usedfor gambling but it is not gambling itself instead it is just a cryptocurrency with a volatile value and a transparent feature. |

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency which is being used in gambling and that doesn't make it clear to say that bitcoin is a gambling instead it is the one that is being used in gambling. We are all aware that bitcoin ever since has been used in many ways due to its volatility. Earning in bitcoin is both risky as gambling. You don't know if you will always be successful that's why it is important that you're ready for any possibility. |

Bitcoin is not a gambling sometimes its just that its pastime and i dont see any negative about gambling. Gambling is not a sin. Its just taking the risk of your money it can be win or lose. You can predict what happen in many years. As long as you dont have people go down.its not a sin

investing in Bitcoin is should not be considered as gambling if the person is spending his time in doing the appropriate research before investing. However, if someone is not doing any research and directly putting his money with the expectations to get good returns on his capital then I will call it a gambling because there won't be any scientific base for such investment and gambling is nothing but to put money in some system (we call it games for our entertainment) having unpredictable random outcomes

Bitcoin is a digital money, cryptocurrency, a coin and definitely not a gambling. It is a money that people use in online gambling activities. But for me bitcoin is a business. It is investment. Investment with profit and where you give your effort and of course your time so that you will succeed in making money through bitcoin. |

I fully understand why others call bitcoin gambling. This is because of what they hear about not having 100% sure profit. Bitcoin is a crypto currency or in real world, money. In real world, a game is called gamble when it involved money or chips in casino which has also equivalent to money. Just like that, if you use bitcoin for gamble, then it is gaambling. Investing is different from gambling.
Yes it's true bitcoin is not gambling it’s a digital currency and it always give you profit and in gambling you can lose so it’s not good to compare bitcoin with gambling because bitcoin have one the good quality if you start hard work here so in a short time you can make a lot of money and it can make you rich and its believe is to change a life of any one so I think bitcoin is the only currency which is trying to do something better for it's users. |

Yes many people think that bitcoin is gambling. It is not only bitcoin people blame digital marketing that it is gambling. Why people think because the reason is of high profit. These people are not liberals now it is 21st century they think like stone age people. Talking about bitcoin it is more profitable currency who understands about bitcoin it depends on mentality of the people. |

We cannot say that Bitcoin is gambling for one simple reason. When you gamble, you realize that you're taking risks. Investment in Bitcoin is something else. You spend your time and entrust your money to gain profits. You can be sure that soon you will gain from it.

There is a thick linr that separates gambling from bitcoining. People who misunderstood this must be kept off from your business. Don't try to argue againts arrogant people. Bitcoin is a digital currency,which increases in value and price, when you invest in it. It is not a gambling because it has no specific money gain after investment, but it tends to appreciate in price value, and as a results of investments into bitcoin. The price increase is with time not instantaneous as in the case of gambling where some condition must be meet in order to have a winning tickets. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and not a gambling, that is widely accepted for online transactions and trading.

Some beginners is assuming that bitcoin is gambling because they have seen people who gamble with bitcoin but the thing that they didnt know that bitcoin is just the way on playing gambling online. Some who dont know anything about bitcoin and influenced gambling online with bitcoin they are the people who assume that bitcoin is gambling. They can be always taught but the thing is some cant.

Bitcoin is not a gambler's game, but the speculation done on exchanges can be very risky as well. I think trading cryptocoins requires strong instinct, mature calculation serts in order to earn profits that match the expectations of the trader and a bit of luck as well, so it has some similarities with gambling.
