There are two sides to look for befor you invest in to an ico project. It is more safer if you're thinking about whether the developmenters would run away once get the money they targeted or not and as long as you are capable of judging the developmenters by looking at their past experience. So never invest  only just by looking at the website. Luckyly recently i found a good iand reliable ico project called daneel.

Just make sure that you invest the right ICO's because some ICO's right now are scam and you need to avoid it.

Taking ico is risky so be sure to check out the route, the team, its community, the community, etc. to avoid seeing virtual projects.

You should really only invest what you can afford to lose. Also, you should do research on your own and don't just straight up believe what they say. Read whitepaper's, chat with fellow speculators, etc.

Safe or not depends on the project concept and the team members.

Currently there are many ICONs that have been present in the market,
but that does not mean a lot of true, maybe just a lot of fake ICO projects

Nothing is totally safe in the world and everything has its risk. If you do not know enough, you'd better invest in a little and after you know enough, you can invest more to earn more money.

Yes, right. Also he might go research to find out if the company he want to be involved is a good one or they're trying to craft a scam and earn a money.

Yes if you know enough about the project you want to be involve make some research first before anything else the team and the company, etc about it. It is risky also because we do not know if the project will be successful

Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.
In general, one can say about ICo activity that there are many winning ways for investors. There are a lot of methods to determine for how safety some project. Smiley

No, its probably not safe to invest in any of it since a lot of them might turn out to be scams.

You need to find a good one that actually does have something new to offer. Not to mention  that have to do your part of reading the whitepaper.

It is safe as long as you do your research. Do not rush into anything. Look at the project, the team and the road map and whitepaper. If you do good research you will find what you are looking for.

have there ever been any cases when people got sued for trading cryptocurrencies?
There was a case some time ago of people that run something similar to an exchange in a country where that was illegal and they got arrested so make sure that you understand very well what you are getting into when dealing with crypto so you avoid problems in the future.

Nothing is totally safe. You are not guaranteed to make money from ICO.
My strategy is I'd rather participate in a small number of ICOs, which I would do thorough research.

Does ICOs all bad? Of course not. Knowledger prefers to apply some patience, best-practices and investment experience to avoid throwing the baby out with the bathwater..

I think you have a working solution to help make an informed assessment of a given product in this domain. Although the fact that most of the important parameters are not measurable, It is up to you to look for all the details and information you can find and analyze them deeply before taking the risk.

It was like mines in past but now its quite safe to join icos if you research enough. There are still hit & run schemes but if you stay as intelligent investor you wont see anymore problems.

I think that ICO is not always good tool for investments. It is necessary to be careful investing in ICO - check developers team, road map and etc

The intelligent decision for participating in an ICO is hard work, if you dig the well in a decent way and deep enough, the water will be sweeter more, discussions and research gave confidence for participation in ICO ,it may be fruitful.

Everything depends on you. Before participating in the ICO it is necessary to study the project in detail, and not to invest in the first one. And then I think there will be no problems.
