Do some more research before you invest. Many lost profits because of haste. Many ICO's are safe and legit and you've become profitable if the ICO will succeed and get it doubled how much you invest but there's no guaranties if the ICO fails. All of investments has its own risk and you should know that. And of course you should be careful about scams. The More you research, the more its safe.

Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.

it always be safe if you choose a good project, not a scam project,
and you should make your own research before make an investments in ICO's mate

Not only reviews because some reviews are bad because companies will pay some money for reviews. So it always good to follows their ANN and all the channels where the team is communicating mostly. In order to get more and most news about the company in terms of development and their credibility.

Actually it is depending on the ico if it is reliable or not because some of them are scammers. One of the example is cartaxi, They did not pay the correct amount to the users who participate in their campaign before and i am one of them.
It’s safe to participate but just like investment opportunities it also has the same risk as investment. We should how to do our own research if were planning to participate. Some ICO have the good concept and content which is the best option for you to participate. I think you should participate for some ICO that being managed by some bounty manager with the good reputation. You should considered also if that project have the potential to become successful at the end. Yes, that's right I also participated in their bounty and other rewards just transferred to other wallet which is not supposed to be transfer.

The risk of you losing your investment on ICO`s is 90%, i think you should rather think hard enough before joining ICO.
Its not safe to join them since they dont have a money back guarantee or even return of investment.

It's basically depends up on their project and you have to think like its gonna success or not. You are just investing for their project
Make yourself on studying the whitepaper and decide about investing on ICO.
I would say there are many real ICO that will make you profits from your investment. At the same time there are many SCAMS that will wipe your investment to lose

I do not say that ICO are safe or not. It all depends upon  where you invest. If you invest in the good project, then  surely it is safe and lot of profitable, but if you invest in scam ICO (obliviously you will know know at the time of investment that it is scam), then surely you will lose all your hard earned money. So like these which give reviews on ICO are helping people to decide which is good and which is not good for investment.

It's investment.
You invest for their project by buying their tokens and the value of tokens would be proportional to profit of the project.
Most of the ICO's are profitable as their price would increase on reaching the market.
But some of them are total scams which would lead your investment to nothing.
So, study about the project before investing.

The right answer .. it's like fishing you never know what fish you will catch until you do.. But you have to spend some worms

The safest thing in participating ICOs are joining their bounty campaigns as we all did but when it comes to investing then that's another story. As of now all I can do is joining their campaigns and help them to be known as a good project as my support.

ICO is always about risk because there is no guarantees. However in order to somehow secure your funds it is necessary to deepen in the available information. Read WP (about the sponsors, forecasts and market data), comments of other people, surf its social networks, explore pre-ICO history. Do not forget about questions that you can ask Community Mangers of the campaign.

Indeed, investing new ICOs today is very risky unless you know the people behind the project personally. You can actually invest but with a minimum of money that doesn't give you risk on losing.

For me I do support an ICO if I trusted them and my instinct is my best reference in every decision making but when I do I'll only invest a portion of my money that doesn't hurt me when an ICO failed.

Even ICO reviews doesn't give you a guarantee that they are a better competitor but you have to do more efforts to research the core team, who are those and what's their previous works because today it's very easy to list down the core team but none of them are actually working on that ICO. Sad truth

Not really but if you enough knowledge to assess ICO then it's better. Lots of people has already lost their money because of those scammy ICOs so take this as a warning.

new ico projects are constantly emerging. How do you know which one is reliable? I have my doubts in these matters. I have never participated in any ico until now.

You have good point here. I think its best to visit and scouring pages here their announcement. Because most people here are aware whats the latest in crypotocurrency and if theres a negative news coming, its the people here first to know it.
