A lot of ICO are out there to scam your money. The purpose of having ICO is so that they can get more money for their own benefit. There is also a lot of ways to trick investors into sending the address belonging to the hackers. So you have to be careful if you want to invest.

Investing with something is always risky that's why there is a saying here in the cryto world "Invest at your own risk" although not all ICO's are scam to get steal your money they're are also successful ICO's that can return your investment 2x or even triple your original investment. So better pick and research an ICO throughly.

Yes true, we have to be wary of ICO, I've been scammed a few times, and the latest one is ETHBooks, because after 3 weeks he is disappear, 2017 is the most ICO scam and formerly the 2016 cloud mining scam.

That's truly the key to research throughly and to be able to conduct some analyzations, ico are still worth trying, if nit , then why we keep on wearing their signatures,we jus need to pick extensively to come out for good results.

In my own opinion, sometimes it is safe but sometimes it is not. The future of the ico's are depend upon to its developer on how they will make it more successful like bitcoin. Other ico's contains trash coin and somtimes scam in that way it is hard to say thay all ico's are safe. And i don't think there will be an ico that will surpass the bitcoin.

Investing in the ICO is always associated with certain risks of losing your money if it is carried out by people who spend it only to collect the money they have collected. However, there are many good ICOs, in which an excellent promising project and professional team. The tokens produced under this project will have growth prospects, as they will be in demand. There are also projects that simply will not collect the necessary funds and will not achieve their goal and the money invested in this case is returned to investors, while the work of other participants of the project invested remains unrewarded.

Exactly right, risk are there always interm of investment not just an ICO but also you invest in anywhere that that's involved business. If you have planning to invest in an ICO you must search first about that ICO and be careful ,read a lot about the project, team and future developments and so on and so forth before you invest.

In my opinion, nothing is safe in the crypto world...too many scam ICO right now. Everything looks like a pump and dump

Most ICO dont have a working product, just a whitepaper and they raised more than 10 million usd which is really crazy

Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.
In my opinion is it safr to participate in ico's
I would say you could see for yourself if it is safe or not to participate in ICO's,
by doing intense research on the ICO's you find more appealing to invest your hard earned cash.
Read well the white paper and also try to find out more about the background of the team that is behind the ICO.

I am going to be honest to you, it is not safe to participate in icos, there is no safe in this world especially in this business but if you ever found the perfect ico to join in it will probably going to satisfy you and you will going to say thay this is worth the risk because ypu will going to earn a lot of money in that a lot of profit. But in this time there are a lot of scams so you better watch out to them and you also wanted to check those projects firat before joining to assure that it is safe.

To be honest iti s riskyor not safe because some of them now there are scams a plenty going around where people try to give you the wrong address to send your ether to, telling you that this is the ICO address when in reality it is their personal address, so you must be sure that you are sending your earned crypto to the right address. The best way to do this is to check the company website which should have the details posted also make research and read some article before join in this project.

Will be safe if you jump in to right ICO, now there are alot of ICO and we need an extra time to analysis it to find promosing ICO. Learn about the fundamental of the project is should be done before make invest in ICO. By study the purpose of the project and what problem they want to be solved and know personality and professionalisme of the team founder is should be before make invest any amount of money in ICO.

The answer to this question is a tricky one. You can answer with a Yes and a No because investing in something could mean you are taking a risk too. Putting money into something that could quite possibly NOT work or could skyrocket and bring your great profit.
It all depends on the ICO you want to invest in. And from there, you will have to see whether the ICO will prosper.
Personally im participating in the bounty program of trade.io. It feels safe for me to do so, i trust in the team and i've received help from members of trade.io, whether it was here on the forum or in the telegram group.
If you want to try it out, feel free to do so now...https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2370663.0

It is safe if you invest cautiously, don't make any rash decisions. Do some research.
I wouldn't expect to gain profit from every investment you commit to but thatch to be expected, its a risky business and you win some you lose some. It's how it goes in the crypto world.

The safety of joining ico is not very high because many ico projects are liar projects, so be sure to examine the ico project itself before taking part in ico to see if team development and projects are worthwhile.

It is definitely not safe to participate in ICO's. They are fraudulent and scammy in all aspects of a scam. They promise to make you rich, but you end up losing because they pump the currency you thought was going to go moon because of their great idea. But they're idea sucked like 99% of the other ICOs and therefore they have no choice to to sell the coin and say they need it for development.
