If you want an altcoin to hold for that period of time, I think you should go for ethereum, waves and no as they are good and stable coin which have the potentials to grow and yield big profit over that period of time and they are reliable coin also.

this is an old thread , but as you may already know ,keep holding for several years isn't a viable option as you are missing alot of profits when market is all green.For instance,last February all coins were gaining much profits and if you sold and bought again now ,at least you have doubled your stack.so consider only holding for few months.

That is a good opinion. I think you should keep the Altcoins from two years to 3 years as you have known in the past few years the price of the Altcoins has grown exponentially so fast it depends on the bitcoin on a nice day you can become a millionaire . I was holding some Altcoins like Stellar and Neo three years ago. Long term strategy i still keep a few Altcoins Believe me.
