The wallet works smoothly, the delegated proof of work system is implemented and working fine, and actual ARK transactions are quick and cheap (though it remains to be seen if this keeps up under heavy network load).In a world where cryptocurrencies are in their infancy, ARK feels “complete.” Obviously more development is coming on this coin, but from a user perspective my opinion is that you’re just not going to find a better DPOS (Delegated Proof of Stake) coin out there.

If you are planning to hold a cryptocurrency for long term investment then i prefer that you should invest on ripple because the price is slowly increasing but still there's an improvement, another thing is that, the coin is also cheap so you can invest a huge amount.

It is very difficult to forecast for 2-3 years, and it is almost impossible, because the market of crypto-currency is constantly changing, new promising coins are coming out, and the value of existing ones can drastically change. I think IOTA, NEO are the best investments projects. I think in the future ICO's to create their token on NEO platform.

Your list of coins is potential ones and you can invest for long term period. NEO is good in market now and it is a sleeping giant as per experts review. NEO was satibilized in price when all the crypto market was down for past 2 to 3 weeks is a good sign for a potential coin. Other coins you listed is not much familiar for me to give my opinion.

2-3 years is long for holding an altcoin...
In my own perception, if you want to hold that long better to do it with btc and eth wherein you are playing safe with your money.
And for other altcoins, whatever it is less than a year would be enough and switch your investments to upcoming ico's because there's a sure profit whether it is high or low.

These are good coins, he can add DASH AND XMR. BUT IN THE LONG RUN, HE SHOULD MAKE A PERSONAL DECISION ON WHAT HE THINKS IS BES FOR HIM BASED ON RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS.

for me 1 year is enough if you are an eth trader...
