Ethereum, Litecoin are the coins you are looking for to invest for 2 to 3 years.
Ethereum being the second most popular crypto after bitcoin is the most widely accepted alt in the market and hence has a market capital of $67 billion. Last year only the coin showed profit gains by 3700%.
Litecoin is considered as the silver to bitcoin's gold and since adoption by Coinbase, the coin's market potential has increased a lot. Also, since Segwit activation the coin helps you in making more faster transactions and hence is a promising long term investment.

I think maybe BCH why? Because I see BCH like BTC, BCH price now, very similar to Bitcoin price last year, so BCH chart is very convincing, especially if we HODL for 1 or 2 years ahead, maybe the price will be like BTC today

Never ever hold small unknown altcoins for 3 years or more. All those coins reach peak once and drop, to never reach back again. But coins like ethereum are here with us to hold for many years maybe even 5!

2-3 Years is a long time we couldn't know which alt-coin would still be great by that time,
It is safe to assume that we would hold the famous alt-coin now like ETH,LTC and other alt-coin with big names,
Maybe in that long period of time there would be another alt-coin that would make a loud noise in the crypto currency market.

I do not think that holding tokens is gonna give you big losses in a long term, most of the tokens that i am holding are giving me profits, just like Elixir, Powerledger.I have just bought QSP and i am up 10%.

Choose some altcoins from top 5 and don’t be bothered by any problems for 2-3 years as you want. I am investing more and more money all the time into Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin. It makes me confident in future.

Crypto market is very unpredicatable and with new upcoming regulation rules we even can't be sure that crypto ico's will be legal and industry will continue to grow . I think short and mid-term investments are more preferable right now .

Personally for long-term investment I prefer IOTA, Bitcooin cash, Cardano, Tron, Stratis, OmiseGO, Sia coin, ICON and Zcash. 80 precent of my portfolio are long-term investments. But 35 percent invested in bitcoin and another 20 precent in ethereum.
