I think it's wrong to leave coins unattended for such a long time, because everything in the market can happen and you can consume all the money!

I am still holding my bitcoins since 5 years, guess what? Nothing bad happened since. I can even say I am very happy 
Now doing the same with zencash and cloakcoin because I knw the story will repeat again whith both ..

It is to long to be hold. I cant do that in my case, may be i can use my exchange rewards in some other type to gained more profit. I can invest it or bough some lower value or have potential token to double my money.

Holding altcoin for two three years? that would be too long...but then its your choice..it would also be good to have eth and bitcoin in some amount to keep so that when all these things boomed and increase in period of time you have all coins in different kinds to grow together and bigger profit all the way.

I will not recommend you to hold any coin, maybe except bitcoin, for two years. A market is very volatile so you should rebalance your portfolio at least once in a month.

Well there are pros and cons holding the coin that long but I would bet that it will be much profitable than lose. I've encountered selling my coins few week after it was distributed and it suddenly gain so much value 1 month after I sold it. Imagine if I just waited for just one month. It's really huge. Seeing the value now is of that specific coins shows that holding long term is not also good in a way because the value drops a lot. But generally, holding it is much better option.

It's a very strange investment for such a long term. The market is flexible and unpredictable and it's unable to say is it really worth to hold coin for even 6months.but ts says about 2 years. I'd rather invest in gold or sth like that for a couple of years

If you're doing a long term investment, I would suggest to choose a proven and good platform. Go with Ethereum, Monero and litecoin as this will surely get a higher value in 2 to 3 years of holding.

I am more in a safe zone with ethereum and btc or coin that has a prospect in the future. ethereum has been much prediction price will rise laterI myself also hold ethereum and my mining proceeds to invest in ethereum

Just invest in Bitcoin, Ethereum, ltc of cryptocurrency, because now is the good time to invest, it will have good in future. For long years you invested in here it multiplied the cost of your coins. If it is in high just sell it.
