is this true? you get 1680 on the new drivers? do i need to do ddu and install them or can i just download and apply?

if you dont mind sharing what settings you are using that would be great too. intensity's, Custom powerplay tables? and overdrivensettings?

getting to 1680 stable from 1500 would be incredible i would be very inclined to send some coins your way. sumo/eth

im using reference 64 vegas with samsung memory if that matters.

1) yes, that is true.  2) I installed pure Display Driver, no AMD settings or anything else (ASUS GPU Tweak works better than AMD Wattman for me). 3) all answers on screenshot of my settings and mining result. My card is ASUS ROG STRIX Radeon RX Vega64 8GB OC , samsung memory.

Do you think you could keep this stable for over a week haha. You are running it at 1708MHz core?? custom regedit? i have been primarily using just overdriventool and tweaking to 1408/950 core and 950/900 mem

What for your "haha"? I installed new driver just today with the settings like on screenshot, it is stable for half a day, after 1 week i will tell you how it behaves . Still I hope CAST XMR will update in a couple of days and we will all have +50% hashrates  Roll Eyes No, i didn't regedit windows. Just drivers+GPU Tweak from Asus+miner.

Just tried to run V1.0, with win 10 X64 (build 1803) + AMD 18.3.4 drivers + 3X RX570 bios mod + afterburner 4.5. Only 2 cards are working properly, GPU1 has less than 70H/s when displayed.

Here is my bat:
cast_xmr-vega --algo=-1 -S xmr-us-east1.nanopool.org:14444 -G 0,1,2 --forcecompute -u 45KjUS75gPfatjfHjtBkEed********GEwKGEDWk545ZWQd9ieFGcm.Z****t

What am I missing please ?

I've been using cast xmr for a long time without any single issue...recently I switched to cr heavy algo, got fantastic hashrates around 7200h/s (5xVega56 rig) but soon after i noticed that the miner freezes sometime. It just stops updating the status but still drawing a lot of electricity (750w).

Here's the settings i use:
1407/950 core and 950/910 mem
-I 9 --opencl 0 -G 0,1,2,3,4 -S --nonicehash --fastjobswitch --algo 2

Do you maybe know what could cause  the problem?

I also noticed that the hashrate changes after restarting the miner. Sometimes it starts 6200 and after several minutes it reaches 6600, sometimes it starts with 6900 and reaches 7250...Do you know why this happens?

About core/mem. You can set 1510-1530 core, its stable with 950mV and faster hashing. For mem I use 880mV, more don't give more hashes, but little less power consumption.
About hash rate. With CastXmr 1.0  to reach 1550+-h/s My v56 I need start with --maxmem option, after 1-2 accepted shares, close miner and run without --maxmem. For v64 just start with --maxmem, its better than w/o.
Solution: just try to play with --maxmem option.

For v64 just start with --maxmem, its better than w/o.

my vega64 with --maxmem performs 1130 H/s, without --maxmem 1530 H/s on CastXMR

Do you have an English version of that software? that's the first one I saw capable of seeing the whole wattage of vegas. Gpuz(Nvidia only)hwinfo64(must add core/memory/chip power), msi afterburner(Nvidia only).

@glph3k

Do you plan to include the changes for ETN (https://github.com/electroneum/electroneum/releases/tag/v2.0.0.0) in the near future?
Thanks and best regards. Smiley

Hey guys,
AMD released a new driver today - 18.5.1

I haven´t done further testing, but it looks like my hashrate improved of around 1-3%. (mining Cryptonight-Heavy)

(source: https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/download-radeon-software-adrenalin-edition-18-5-1.html)

On my Vegas it may have actually decreased the hash rate.
Especially on the 56 ones with 64 BIOS.

It seems all my Vega 64's have dropped very slightly with this driver as well.

A little help please:  GPU 0 in my 5 card rig is showing fan speed of -1 rpm and temp of -1* C.  It’s not the card, riser, or cable, as both Wattman and GPUz shows fan speed and temp.  If I rearrange the riser cables, it’s always GPU 0 not reading sensors.  Any ideas?
