You need a good mentor and education in cryptocurrency trading. The mentor must be someone who is with enough experience to guide you.If make a wrong choice obviously the result will be bad.
I am not really entirely sure this is really needed. A mentor will tell you exactly what you might find out by yourself or by simple observation and analysis. Kind of believe altcoin trading is pure gambling, rather than an educated gambling. |

You are part of the right to "gambling", it is difficult to foresee and predict, but the advice of an experienced person in these matters will not interfere. Is not it? |

for the moment I trade all my altcoin with Bitcoin because I think Bitcoin will keep on increasing and increasing.
I would recommend against this. You are trading cheap altcoins for bloated Bitcoin. Eventually Bitcoin will go down and altcoins up. You will lose too much. it depends on his strategy and if he has one, I do not expect him to have made a big mistake with the decision he has made so far. There is still enough time to get into the altcoin train since most of them are still low, and even if bitcoin will have to come down, he must have made a lot instead of the losses he could have made from the dip of the altcoins. Even if bitcoin would go down, it would end up as a correction and if he can get the timing right, he should have gotten back into altcoins before they get pumped. |

Im not sure what you had invested in, but within 6 months time most of my alts have seen major gains. Not as much gains as my bitcoin portfolio but 100% gain is still doubled of the investment.
But honestly bitcoin has been the best from early this year till now. Has netted me the most profit, and alts have seen 100 even 400% gains. So maybe choose your investment more wisely and know your actually investing into.

I believe there is future for altcoins,not all altcoins though. some has huge potential amd very likely to succeed in the long run. Just get the right coin that you think is a good choice. You can not actually predict what will happen in the future because there are many factors that affects the cryptocurrency. If I were to choose,my favorite is Monero because I think it will slowly continue to grow in the future unlike other that will boost and eventually fail. I also feel that the peopls behind it are into their goal. I dont tell that you will also invest on it, what I am trying to say is do research yourself because it is your choice and I dont want to intervene with your decision. |

Investment in altcoins are riskier than ever. Bitcoin is providing a consistence rise while Altcoin whose price are relative to bitcoins can have much more unpredictable fluctuations.
It would be better to join a rising coin than aspecting one to rise.
Vitaik Buterin himself said in his interview not so long ago that in 2018 and 2019 only 10 protsets from the total number of altcoins will survive due to old-time technology and other things. I wrote about this in detail before. But sometimes it is worth buying some altcoins |

The reason why i choose to be a day trader and not a weekly or monthly trader because short trader is more profitable than the long term investments,stressful but it is worth trading.

Altcoins are very profitable, you just need to pick the right one. You have to buy it at the right time and sell it at the right time. If you keep picking shitcoins then expect that there will be no future from it. That's true, although its value is not as much as bitcoin, it still carries a profitable value to trade and invest in. However, like the reply said, it would be crucial to choose the right one. You better research and take note of the market trend before choosing on investing in any altcoin, it would be better to check how strong it is and how its price point changes due to several different reasons. |

Not sure about that because a lot of the sites already provided a various reliable article about the trade guides. The op just needs to be more active to read it. It doesn't need a mentor. |

You need to invest in blue cheap alts,and promising real token project like centra for example or value alts like vtc or storj,mostly good alts are not loosing much to dolar during btc pump and thay are hedge for btc whan btc price decrease
Yes i do agree some of the ICO like Centra , Power ledger are really good to invest even its loosing value in bitcoin because of fork it will rise for sure because these tokens are traded in largest volume exchanges like Binance and bittrex . So look into exchange market and potentialityof coin long term while investing altcoin. |

6 months holding without any profit is just a waste of time and money for sure. It's in our phone and we are excited to see the status of our investment. So you can invest in better altcoin that will give you profit witjin few months like 2-6 months. I hope the market value is increase in future.

Most altcoin are really a long term investment to see good profit. But in a span of 6 months if you have invested it to more popular coin it possibly have grown already. I wooukd suggest you to really find a better alt that has promising future. And also it is wise if you would diversify you investment ao you could expect not just in ine alt. There are really promising alt out there, try new one and you will see your fund growing. Just avoid the ever growing scams. |
