Why are so many people against bitcoin?

Many people are against bitcoins, because some of them are hurt that this is just a scam. They think that they will spend time on bitcoins. But once they tried and proved that this is not a scam, maybe this is the time when they can already believe in the existence of bitcoin.

You are absolutely right. Many people just don’t about what actually bitcoin is, how beautiful it is for making your lives better. Since the social media don’t spread kind word mostly therefor this scamming thing is prevailing all around the world. Still chances are there that will allow this amazing coin to pertain a better impact on such people and they come to know it well.

In my opinion there are many problems in bitcoin which can be discussed. But we cannot ignore the importance of bitcoin in our life. Blockchain is a great technology with a lot of benefits. But I think most of people who are against bitcoin don't know it and it's because of lack of knowledge.

Certainly i agree, many people give bad impressions to bitcoin because they only rely out of the fake news about bitcoin over the social media, but to think these people are not yet experience of having bitcoin and how to earn it for money and all they think that bitcoin is a scam.

I think alot of people haven't taken the time to understand what it is. But, in the coming years more and more people will be introduced to it. Showed my dad a documentary of Bitcoin last night. He seems less against it now

I agree with you, if people will know what really bitcoin is. I know they will take their back, it is all about how it is introduced to them. They are not against but they don't have enough idea about bitcoin. Like you did by showing documentary to your dad, you give him idea about btc. We who is in bitcoin can do the same thing we can start with our love ones, then friends and even new meet people.

But they are not against bitcoin just cause they don`t understand it, people who are against bitcoin are the ones who are controlling fiat money. Now we have something that they cannot control and of course they are against it. But they can`t fight it, cause more and more people are starting to understand
what are crypto currencies, what is bitcoin and many other coins and they wish to be free and use their money freely.

many of those "many people" you see are not against bitcoin. they are actually heavily invested in it but they pretend otherwise. someone who is spreading FUD in 99% of the times wants the price to drop so he can either short bitcoin or because he has some buy orders placed ahead of time at certain low prices.

i honestly can not think of anybody who does not benefit from bitcoin! even banks that some people say are against bitcoin or bitcoin is against them are happy about bitcoin. not only bitcoin introduced blockchain technology to them to improve their business but also it has opened up new ways for banks to make money. banks are in fact making a lot of money because of bitcoin, all these traders are using banks to handle their money transfers and there are lots of them

Adding to this Most of the Ppl don't knw what is Bitcoin exactly ...They need to be educated and thought what it is ... Lots of them think it is an pyramid or ponzi scheme..

And few ppl shout and against are the ones who didn't get their hands on Bitcoin early when they knew about it.

Those trying to undermine and manipulate bitcoin stem from the central bank system around the world;
-the central banks dictate policy to all the operating big banks around the world and have essentially tried their best to ban bitcoin related transactions for more than four years straight, ever since 2013, and have failed at stopping bitcoin's growth, adoption, and popularity
-the central banks fund efforts to undermine bitcoin, providing plenty of capital and liquidity to private companies and venture backed groups such as Digital Currency Group (they own Coinbase, GDAX, Kraken, Bitpay, and media outlet Coindesk) to undermine and break the bitcoin protocol and/or manipulate trade

Bitcoin is a secure, decentralized, trustless and open system which cannot be banned nor controlled.
 
Bitcoin is ultimate store of value and its popularity has strengthened over time and maximizes value compared to any other altcoin...why?:
If it can be shutdown, and have assets frozen by a bank or government, there would be no value
If it wasn't secure, there would be no value.
If it wasn't immutable, there would be no value.
If it wasn't globally distributed, there would be no value.
If it wasn't so strong, open-source decentralized and unstoppable, there would be no value.
If it wasn't so scarce, there would be no value.
If it was easy to spam transactions, there would be no value
If it required a central 3rd party to function, there would be no value
If it was stopped after all major banks on Earth banned in 2013 to today, there would be no value. (say "bitcoin" when transacting and watch the block of the transaction. simple fix=never mention "bitcoin").
If it didn't have the history of 8+ years (and still no hacker can exploit bitcoin blockchain), there would be no value
If it was exactly like fiat and only did transactions, there would be no value.

Bitcoin's value is worth hundreds of billions USD today. Altcoins however are scams, weak, pyramid schemes not offering these values.

Bitcoin has all the characteristics needed combined to hold the most value and increasing more than any other financial-asset option coming from the manipulated fiat central-banking debt-system. (more than stocks, more than houses, more than gold)

Its risky because of security and more than that they are against to this because its intangible, example of this is the government they intend to ban this kind of currency because their paper money are not being capitalized and somehow the tax methods are not that consistent so thats why.

Those who have insufficient information and knowledge about bitcoin are against it and also recently some countries banned bitcoin that would have affected people mind so they are against it. Some people may think it as scam not believes in the bitcoin so they opposes the bitcoin.

I do not think that there are a lot of people who would be against walking bitcoin. Most likely, they just do not recognize it as a monetary unit for some reason, or are afraid and do not trust it. Many people do not understand how bitcoin appears and why it has value, while this is significant. One of the main reason why many people against Bitcoin because they don't understand and see the potential of bitcoin.

No one is actually against Bitcoin. It's either them having missed out and thus are heavily disappointed, which in some cases can turn into a form of hate. Or they lack the knowledge to understand something, wich again can turn into a form of hate. In both cases it's nothing more than a lame attempt to cover that person's own weakness/stupidity/ignorance - that directly goes up for banks and governments as well. From banks and governments I already know that nothing will change, but when it comes to people, it all comes down to education. If they understand what Bitcoin is, what decentralization means, and the freedom that comes with it, they eventually will change their way of thinking, I am sure of that.

Your absolutely right. Its not about there against of bitcoin, but they have lack of knowledge what Bitcoin is. They hate bitcoin because they dont understand what can bitcoin do with their lives. They don't believe that you can really earn money from bitcoin. Having no knowledge with it will really end up to nothing.

There's always a reason, I don't actually think many people hate it, Do they study what Bitcoin really is? Do they just invest in it and loss some money or just a victim of a fraud scam.

Maybe just their stunts to earn more
