I am having a hard time keeping connections on the anoncoind client. I am watching the log and see a lot of IP's with random other ports coming in like 9200,1901,9378 vs the majority athat are 9377 as I think is expected. When I grab the IP's with odd ports (that are refused connections) and change the port to 9377 I can connect and if I add the modified IP:port to my config its a new connection. This seems like odd behavior?

Great merged mining BTC pool at http://mmpool.bitparking.com/ my monitor site for it http://bitmonitor.usr.io/
Play on cex http://cex.usr.io my cex Android app http://cexapp.usr.io

Agreed. Meeh will have to look into this when he gets back. Thanks for excellent information. Really helps troubleshooting the issues.

Thanks for the report. I will start dig into it right away. I think it might be related to the darknet support, since I2P and TOR doesn't use ip:port the same way as tcp does. I'll update this post when I've found out of it.

New release is coming up soon. This is a major makeover to further improve implementation and usability of the i2p features.

I've added Anoncoin to my big beta altchain block explorer at http://altcha.in/chain/Anoncoin.

It's still in development and I'm working to add more chains but it is available most of the time. I sometimes take it down to load additional chains.

Donations accepted at ALtCoinY7h8GAUTsWioN2Viv4WPN2VKq2A

Cheers!

Thanks a lot Smiley We had a dev meeting yesterday and a new client should be out within the next two days with many changes, also including the GUI changes in screenshots above. That client should be mandatory within three months. I will get back on this thread with a full changelog Smiley

I sent you some coins Grin

Hi,
I'm getting some weird behaviour from solo mining and the Anoncoin client. I started mining 6 hours ago, blocks have been generating with no problem (1 every hour). However, there's an inconsistency in the blocks reported in the client itself.

CGMiner reported that I mined 7 accepted blocks, and 8 rejected. In the client, it reports 7 transactions in the overview tab. In the transactions tab it shows only 5.

Is there an explanation to this behaviour, please?

Thanks.

I have no explanation for this behavior. Could you go to the help menu and choose debug window? Click the console tab, type in listtransactions then getblockcount and paste the output of these. I recommend using http://pastebin.com to share the output.

Thanks for the hint. It seems the two missing blocks were orphaned.
