can any of the other coins be used with TOR and those other ones like ip2 etc?  is this the first coin that is specifically designed for use with this kind of thing?

Bitcoin has/had a version with I2P support. But all coins should support TOR via the SOCKS protocol. This coin is aiming to have both I2P and onion (TOR) nodes to connect to, which can make you anonymous if you do it right.

Here is the forum thread for the Bitcoin client that supported I2P, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=151181.0

Yes i like the idea i'm mining it now with and now some coins are coming in too.

thanks for donations from everyone who send me a few too Smiley

i think when 'they' decide they don't want p2p currency to be allowed, these features could be rather handy. Name is quite cool too.

I agree. The project was started in early may and was going to have native i2p support on first release, but with the new "sport" in creating coins we feelt forced to release it now..

This might be fun, too.
No pools yet, I assume?

Am I wasting my time mining solo @ 350kh/s?

Edit: hmmm... found three blocks, three blocks rejected :-/

I think I got the same VIRUS.  Reporting it to the Crypto association.  DO NOT DOWNLOAD this unless you have a Virus Scanner enabled.  You will for sure get infected.  Move on, this coin is contaminated.

Two pools. But one is down at the moment, should be up in some hours. (Getwork only)

http://anoncoin.coinpool.in/ supports both Stratum on the servers listed on the page, and Getwork via a Stratum proxy or cloud.mining.coinpool.in:8332 (Getwork)

You clearly don't know what a virus is. And what a runtime error is.. Check it up before throwing such claims. If any of your antivirus applications complains let me know, and we have a look into the source. Seems like you're missing some Visual C++ dll files. Odd since it's build with mingw compiler. But I will research it.

Was it the exe file insdide the zip file, or the installer that returned this error?

Many people just assume any unexpected dialog window is a virus, but I don't blame them since the news talk a lot about all this scamming, viruses etc....

I second that!
