This coin needs better trades and I think we have some great trades as of now,
I am exceptionally noob at programming and I am not doing it well. I downloaded the wallet however the "STA CLR" isn't synchronizing.

Hi everyone!

This is a quick update on the coming release of Anoncoin 0.9.7. We are currently working on it and expect to have the branch ready for testing late next week. You can follow the progress on Github: https://github.com/Anoncoin/anoncoin/tree/anongost-master

The most important feature is a new PoW algorithm, which is done to fix issues with mining. We will use double GOST R 34.11-2012 hashing algorithm, which can be mined by CPU/GPU.

We also want to make sure that everyone can easily install the wallet on all platforms. We will release builds for Linux, Windows and Mac.

Change of mining algorithm requires a hardfork, details about this will be announced next week. According to the current roadmap ANC will transition to I2Cash: https://github.com/I2Cash/docs/blob/master/FAQ.md
I2Cash will be a cryptocurrency without a blockchain that nevertheless is supposed to get by without trusted third party. Personally, I am sceptical as to whether I2Cash will manage to solve the double-spend problem and reach consensus without blockchain. (After all, blockchain tech is there for a reason..)
The important thing to note with regard to the following, however, is that after this transition, the current ANC chain and the Anoncoin brand will be vacant.

These guys offer to implement zk-stark technology into a crypto currency in exchange for tokens. Now, wouldn't that be a perfect fit?
Anoncoin offers a great name and an old chain with a focus on anonymity (such as I2P integration) from its inception. The only thing that was ever missing was the tech to anonymize transactions such as RSA UFOs or similar. On the other hand there are these guys which are looking for a coin to include their anonymity tech.
So, how about coming up with a decent percentage of ANC's total coin supply and offer this percentage in exchange for implementing zk-starks? After all, there's nothing to lose since, as mentioned above, the current Anoncoin will be vacant in the near future.

While I'm not a whale, in order to make the first step, I pledge 3000 ANC for this purpose.
