The lack of communication from Cryptsy bothers me more than anything
u R not alone in that opinion

I sent AnoncoinTwitter a dump of our raw unconfirmed txes 4 days ago now

Our i2p node is back online. new txes are confirming but some old ones still are not

Thank you. I can confirm he did message me 4 days ago. I had not logged in since that time so just now became aware of his response. So we all have the same information (and because I am not one of the ANC developers) this is what he told me:

"This is usually an issue that the developers address. If you are not going to force everyone into i2p then you need to make sure transactions can get relayed from clearnet. Do you expect every user on clearnet to have the same issues?

We tried to point out this issue before. As many users were having issues with their transactions reaching us. As well as our withdrawals reaching them. But it resulted in the same campaign of hatred from the developers against cryptsy. Your team has been well aware of this issue for about a year. But no progress has been made to resolve it. Even after bittrex delisted ANC for that very reason. It shouldnt be this hard to get a transaction in a block when you have 16 peers connected.

I suggest you stop bashing the exchanges trying to support you and following me thread to thread. Your time would be better spent fixing the above issues which have already got you delisted from one exchange

I am working on setting up our old node again but my hosting provider is having issues with my snapshot. This is not our hot wallet its an external node I run on both clearnet and i2p to relay transactions. Since nobody else on the network appears to be doing this."

Hi Mullick,

Could you let me know exactly which version of anoncoin you are using (including the github commit hash)? With our DNS seeders, I'm surprised that you are having problem with clearnet peers.

Cheers,

So is your ANC stuck or not?

Any opinions on the new 0 trading fees but higher costs to withdraw? Many people seem upset by the lack of notice

Making withdraw fees higher or more difficult without notice makes me worry about upcoming exit scams..

I built from the master branch on august 1st. The last update before the spree of unconfirmed txes. Same as last time. Rebuilt from master after I noticed they were not confirming. Even though there had been no commit in between.

I started up my vps which runs a wallet on clearnet and i2p and pass all our rawtxes to it for broadcasting. Seems to get new withdrawals confirmed but no luck on the older ones

Every user has 3 free withdrawals to compensate for the fee structure change.

At this point there is nothing more we can do. If the developers have no resolution we will need to take the wallet offline and spend all the inputs from the raw txes I posted ( or at least one from each tx) before we can re open it and remove any unconfirmed txes from accounts. This would take a few days and is not our ideal resolution.

Thank you for replying mullick.

Do you have a link to your policy regarding the 3 free w/d transactions? I can't seem to find any documentation for that. Does the offer have an expiration date?

I was going to set up a node on this build although I'm having trouble accessing - http://www.geti2p.net - is it just my ISP or is the site down everyone.

u R not alone in that opinion

Cryptsy is acting strange with me too. When you open a ticket, it's hard to get back from them. I removed all my coins from the exchange for good.

Im not sure if the documentation was updated on the site. It was only issued for users with a balance at the time of the fee change.

If you had a balance it should state on the withdrawal page how many you have remaining and an option to use one for the current withdrawal. They do not have an expiration date.

Most of them have confirmed over time since i brought the i2p node back online. If there is no other resolution I'll spend those inputs in a raw transaction tonight and once it confirms i'll remove any unconfirmed withdrawals from users accounts. This will take a while and the wallet will be offline for the duration. The rescan may take up to 24 hours.

We all are well accustomed to Zerocoin/Zerocash delays. This still should be discussed along with its impact on ANC:

Many people hoped ANC could launch Zerocoin before the Zerocash people could deliver. That appears very unlikely now.

the issue is that a tweet is an insuficient indecation of progress, zerocoin can use the sanders RSA UFO but Mat Green needs to invent new crypto to get zerocash setup in a trustless way, this is a very difficult thing, Its unclear whether it is even mathimatically possible. Of course Anoncoin has had very significant delays as well,

So basically get your coins out quick.  We still really need in the cryptocurrency community a decentralised way to do secure peer to peer exchanges between cryptocurrencies at least.  Maybe trusted traders on OpenBazaar can provide this at some poin in the future.  Meanwhile isn't their now an I2p net only altcoin exchange that offers Anoncoin trading.
