I am starting trading some month ago.Bought some alta coin but now all alta coin are down and i donot understad what can i do?I get a big lose if i sell this.So how control my mind ?

you should practice self disipline , the moment you but an altcoin profit is what is in your mind right ? if you sell your coins right now would you think you could get profit ? obviously no ! so the best advice I can give you is dont ever sell if you are not gaining profit jusy Hold it it will never be always down surely it's value will rise just wait for it

The problem with altcoins is a few thousand dollars can literally change the entire market. If you invest too much, a single dumper could ruin everything for you. Look at what happened with eBTC recently. Someone dumped like mad and the price crashed ~80% within an hour.

Trading can make you emotional when you're new to it it's natural sometimes things doesn't work the way we think. You should start trading with lower amounts so that you won't get emotional or depressed. Altcoins market are pump and dump nowadays so you should only invest if you are going to hold it for long term otherwise you will have to suffer loss as altcoin market are highly volatile.

Maybe you could try to search for a couple of interesting things and try to make them into your hobbies, this could allow you to spend more time with it and you won't have time to think about your altcoins that have dropped in values, patience is a virtue in trading, so it would be better to hold on your altcoins for now.

You have to follow the simple trading principle as there is no different between conventional trading and cryptocurrency or forex trading. For you to make profit you most buy low and sell high and if the opposite is the case then you will lose money. A coin may be good but if you invest in it at the wrong time you will lose money. You can only control your emotions if you know what you are doing and you can only know what you are doing buy spend time to learned why the altcoins market behave the way it behaves. If you buy at the right time you will always sell at the right time and vice versa. I will advise you not to sell now because you will sell at lose as most of the coins are in red but after the bitcoin splitting, fund are going to flows back to altcoins markets and most of them will recover.

Maybe you need to take small pause with trading. Try to solve your problem

I just feel you.  The first time i loss money even in a small amount give me a big heartache and sleepness night, thinking what i did wrong?  I am planning to dump my coins to lessen further damage. But as i read more,  i just realize that i have to be calm and think ahead. I Also agree to the answere about its fine to have small losses than  big losses. If ever i dump that coins after buying it in a higher price,  a loss will be there. Patience is a virtue here.  Lets just wait and study it carefully

Nice pieces of advices! You seem very realistic and practical in life. Though losses are part of life just like profits and should be accepted as soon as possible but some people are so reluctant to accept these harsh realities that they suffer a lot emotionally and physically under such circumstances. You need to show some flexibility in order to stay happy and calm in your life.

Also, realize that you're now facing a potential loss at this moment. If you proceed to sell, you'll have an actual loss. Btw, most alts have lost in the past month or so due to a major bullrun of Bitcoin. Chances are the majority of alts will recover somewhat as the inevitable sell-off after the current peak of BTC occurs. In the (near) future you could try to maintain some sort of balance (50/50?) between BTC and alts. Makes you less prone to the several fluctuations of the altcoin-market!

Bitcoin investment is create more complicated for new users. We should control the emotions and investment. Because new users does not have that much knowledge to invest. sometimes a loss is better than a big loss. in technical terms use a stop loss order which is practically doing this for you. it triggers when price falls lower than your "tolerance" so you automatically dump the coin and prevent further losses.
it doesn't have to be a stop loss and automatic either. you can do it manually too. you just have to plan for these things ahead of time. for example you buy ETH at 0.07BTC and decide that you don't want to lose more than 5% of your money so you dump it as soon as ETH got dumped hard down to 0.0665BTC and prevent losing more money when it was really dumped hard down to 0.046BTC and then buy back at the bottom.

Also, you shouldn't necessarily panic -- altcoins and everything in general has a chance to go back up in the future unless it's dropping very very low. Another thing you can do is make sure you don't put all of your money into investments. Make sure you keep some of it out so that you can keep investing even if you don't do well on your current investments.

Right,  patience is needed in trading coins but still holding emotions are sometimes hard especially if the price keeps going down.  What I do is just set my order whenever I trade.  I don't watch over the price so that I will not be displeased if the price  keeps going down.  I go back to the exchanger after an hour just to check if my order is processed. 

In trading,  if you are not able to control your emotion you will always end up selling your coins at lower prices and loss the opportunity or the chance on earning good profit.

If you trade altcoin that paired with BTC for the better do day trading, because the price of BTC  going up fast.  If buy altcoin for longterm investment better buy it  with USDT. And if you are now in loss more than 50% for the better just hold and wait the price move up other 10% then sell it, then again buy other altcoin on the deep and that has good in fundamental to recover loss.

Is really hard to control one's emotion specially in trading. That's why we preached that you need to check your emotions in doing trading. Used your mind bro, not your emotions and don't listen to anyone. Because there's a lot of members here who are creating panic and spreading a lot of FUD, so it you listen to them you will sell your bitcoin and will get a big lose. Sometimes a walk outside will somewhat clear your judgement whether to sell or not. That's what I do before, when I was very emotional and wants to sell. Will go out and take out my dog for a walk and then return with a different mindset not to sell my coins. Fortunately, it really help me because if I have sold then I will also take a lot of loses. Now, I'm more matured and not be affected by the negative news. I just hold my bitcoins.
