I meant to put up our own forum / IRC last month but I've been constantly been bombarded with work :/ I bought hosting and domain too...

I've never set anything up having to do with IRC. Can't we do something for free on Freenode?

Even more off topic. Would anyone be interested in mining Litecoin with ASIC?

https://alpha-t.net/product/scrypt-asic-miner/

Looks legit ...

I'm not so optimistic about litecoin ASICs in general... They'd have to outperform GPU's memory bandwidth, which is highly optimized. There is room for a mild improvement in hashes per watt, but there will not be a massive jump in efficiency and cost per bitcoin ASICs.

Hello,

I'm new to this and have question about this deal.

1. When this machine will be mining?
2. Do I need to do anything? Or it run by itself?
3. How can I pay using PayPal?
4. These shares is for the life of the machine or just a lease?

Thank you very much.

What is happening here??
I didn't agree to any of this shit!
I agreed to 2 % of my profit being taken away from me for whatever you need to be payed.
You made the offer and you are responsible for covering your ends.
I don't care if you have to drive from work or whatever!
You should have thought about this before you made this offer!
I also didn't agree on mining any altcoins!
Could you at least give an overview of what you intend to mine and ask everyone before you change anything??

Stick to the conditions you set and don't change them around like you change your socks.

Guys,

Please chill out.

This is really the most terrible groupbuy ever!

That is the first auto payout from ghash.io - there is about 9.4 BTC that I will manually payout on Monday when it's due.

If you don't like this group buy by all means just leave.

Then how would you propose paying the electricity/ security fees with auto payout? let me know ASAP.

We've been talking together for days about this.

1) Q1-2 2014
2) You don't need anything.
3) No it's only for current group members
4) Shares are for life of the machine.

I wasn't asking for auto payouts. I'm fine with payouts every two weeks.

I'm not sure how to solve the problem with the electricity. Maybe suggest supporting this as a new feature to the developers of the service.
But I'm against using a service if it doesn't fulfill ALL our requirements or automates them in a bad way.

Sorry if my post from this morning was a bit harsh, but I don't have time to check this thread everyday.
And I don't like checking every week and seeing everything change without notice.

Also it doesn't affect the result of BTC gain when you mine alt coins... You're actually gaining 5% from mining at Ghash and mining NMC at the same time... So 5% - 2% - 2% ... you're actually gaining 1%... It's called merged mining.

Doing payouts now. Also the Miners have been turning off way too often. I've been resetting them at night before I go to sleep so they don't crash throughout the night. I hope they're not dying already.

Can we updated the auto-payout threshold? I don't like the constant payments spamming my client xD.

Is there a way to reduce the frequency of payouts? I feel like my ~.0015 BTC per day is adding more dust to the blockchain than I'd like. Or am I wrong about the threshold that is considered "dust"?
