Guessing that's because it's a beta.  One other bug I noticed is that after you change the voltage once, setting it back to default doesn't actually do that. I found that out after setting it back to default and raising the clock speed up and seeing the HW errors jump like crazy.

i read for install the frimware, but for precision , we have to use "flash new firmware , or better with "restore backup" ?

if with flash new firmware , "keep setting" must be checked ?

1.5 fee is high without algos , but i m happy to comforting your job with it  Wink

Hey, First of all, thank you very much for this firmware. I am so glad I'm able to quiet this thing down. I tried it on my September version today. I've always had some hardware errors. From what I understand some are okay. I have to basically set my frequency to under 400 before I stop getting errors which severely affects my hash rate which should be much closer to 15G/Hs. Am I correct in assuming some errors are okay?

Thank you for the feedback guys. If you flash it you can just keep your settings when flashing the firmware.

This is really  first version and I will continue improving the firmware as it's far from perfect yet.
Beside some bugs that need to be fixed, I plan to add some requested features:

customize fail over / balance strategy
create auto tune profiles (silent, normal, performance), which will search for the best settings based on counting HW errors.
day / night profiles

The search for other algo's continues as I know this would be really bad ass to have.  Cool

Ok... so Nov batch here.  Voltage lowest and freq sweet spot ended up being 437mhz.

Wattage currently is 770.4.  Unit is hashing 15,378.2 currently.

Not complaining but how did you get the 1.5% miner integrated?  Does that work concurrently or is it time based?  Only interested because it's a pool feature i'm interested in.

Quite a good result I would say for the November batch. At stock settings my October batch did 13.5 Mh/s @ 900 watts. :/ Currently  it's doing 14.8 Mh/s at 720 watts.
The fee is time based as I want to add balancing strategy to the firmware later

hope miner will not stop if you fee time cannot connect to your pool or else reason,
a good option to had is auto reboot if miner hangs or going to fault statut Smiley

No it can't hang to the fee pool as it will always switch after a defined time. Just test it. If you find a bug with the dev pool let me know so I can fix it.

Yes the high fan is still a bug that needs to be fixed... Looking at the profits at the moment I would advice to run at the lowest voltage setting and adjust the frequency so you see almost no HW errors. I guess you will end up somewhere between 400mhz and 450mhz at the lowest voltage setting.

Please enough of this. No one was a victim. It was clearly stated what the miner did and you bought it. Live with it. ASIC is a one trick pony.

I Think that blissz have the same hope that all D3's buyer have...... the best performance of this miner..... he is working hard to mod the firmware.... voltage... fan... algo... i think that now all people must support it but dont ask continuosly  "when you..."  " how many algos... " is possibile.... " the work is long.....

you are right!

A fun logo would be a nice feature to add. I agree the webpages are really ugly. Not top priority right now, but I might improve the webpages a bit as well

Actually I also bored your depreciatory posts.
if the company had  sold , %50 fewer  unit D3 was  a goldmine now. OK you are right. Thats not realistic. ignore it.
if the company had   sold , %30 fewer unit , probably nobody would complain right now.
But They had sold  more than needed, knowing the consequences as is now
No one could predict that but they realy could know that. .

we are not stupid as you imply.
but they fooled us willingly.

We are all frustrated D3 Antminer, and i understand you , and yes probably they know what they do, by selling so much d3 miner, may be we can hope for a good fork on x11  ,
and i m scared it will be same for l3+ soon , but it s not the topic here to debate about that please
